Are 2-1B Vendor Bots that give buffs now more enticing that they'll be removing the commands to allow ingame macros to loop?

What is really wrong with afk people? They added your precious "afk ignore" and if they didnt put themselves on afk you can still manually type it for goodness sakes! So what if someone wants to spend THEIR $15 a month afk? Don't like afkers, DONT PATRON!!!! It is that simple. And now, thanks to the endless line of whinners, I will now have to go find someone to buff me and I might even have to talk to them to be polite. Maybe I dont want to talk to people which is why I choose to go to the afkers. There will be evils to this you havent even had the forethought to think of!! Give it two weeks and all you people moaning will be moaning again for it to be fixed because it has now messed you up in some other way.

As long as you can call macro_B from within macro_A, then nothing will change. You can write a very long macro out of game in a text editor and alias it ingame.
I imagine the macro would look something like:
/macro Go_Do_Something; /pause 60;
/macro Go_Do_Something; /pause 60;
/macro Go_Do_Something; /pause 60;
/macro Go_Do_Something; /pause 60;
/macro Go_Do_Something; /pause 60;
repeat ad nauseum
So really, unless you are prevented from calling a macro or calling a toolbar slot, then all this change will do is make it only slightly more trouble to do.

Ummm with all the stuff thats messed up they choose to direct thier time to AFK macro's, Can I get a vote on who care's if someone is AFK? Never know they could have a job work all day and not want to spend there Online time grinding out a tedious block..Before the flame hit's yes I know some play this 24-7 and take the time to follow ABC, I /salute you for that..But some don't have the pleasure..my 2 creds

Bandwidth issues aside, who cares if someone is AFK? This affects you how?
Do you also demand that NPC's no longer operate under computer control? Let's go the whole distance and make it PvP only. Certainly that will alleviate the load on the server not having to calculate AI algorithms.
I have had no serious use for recursive macros myself, but this seems like 99.9% punishment and 0.1% fix for most all folks out there.

nope, they are taking this out. they are making it impossible to set never ending macros
What I had there wasn't a recursive loop (never ending). It was Macro1 calling Macro2 every 60 seconds. You could very easily replace Macro2 with a /ui action toolbarslotXX for the same effect.
You can also have 200 different macros that all do the exact same thing and just call one of them every 60 seconds until the server resets ... then you start the macro again in the morning like the AFK folks already do.

I believe they specifically stated that you will be unable to call a macro from within another macro

Recursive/looping macros going away does not effect me at all. I think it will more likely effect the entertainers. Not sure if they are for or against this.

I will cancel a few acounts. At this point in my game play i have made over 1 billion credits the most i have ever had on hand at 1 time was 400million. I Run Avenia (2800 Doc) and Bloke (125% Dancer/Mus) to hlep bring peeps to are city and as a service to my server. So this change will just save me RL money and hurt the peeps that used my buff bots.

the romoval of looping macro's wont really be that much of an issue unless they remove the uiactiontoolbarSlot command as you just need to end your macro with/ui actiontoolbarSlot 02;
create a new macro and put it in slot 3 and have a line in that saying /ui actiontoolbarSlot01;
simple should still cause your macro to go round as one activates slot 3 which activates slot 2 with your macro in it
