You can use the current trade window system to exchange money, but your customer must have the cash on hand. The trade window does not withdraw money from the bank.

What would be nice would be to have a way to pull money from your bank account without having to /tip. Still incur the service fee if you're too lazy/it's too inconvenient to go to the bank yourself. Then, the Doc can receive the tip in the secure window.

Also, note that although names are not capitalized now, the official bank transfer mails will show first and last names, while a direct mail from someone only shows first name. Of course, this obviously doesn't help for people who have no last name.

Weren't the devs made aware of this new scam?

I understand they can't catch EVERYTHING but come on man this is a little ridiculous.

Have you been to the Bounty Hunter forums today?

Their droids do work now and they can track the Jedi but guess what? Most of the BH's aren't getting any payout or xp

I have made a post about this in the Publish 7 Feedback thread in the In Live forums. I would encourage everyone here to do the same in a constructive, calm manner. There is no need to flame the Devs... but we must raise visibility about this issue quickly. I, for one, will not accept bank tips as forms of payment until I am confident that players cannot scam me.

It was my understanding that everyone's first name was unique on your server (if not across all servers). So, letter case is moot.

I know that if I sent a tell to my friend, D'abry - it arrives on his screen whether I use "/tell D'abry", "/tell D'Abry" or "/tell d'abry" and I know that I've used several variations of each letter's case over the months.

So, is this really an issue?

The problem is that people trick the buffing doctors by sending them fake bank tips. They copy paste the real bank tip message, and then just send a normal e-mail to the doctor with that message in it. The only way to tell the difference pre-publish was if the character's name was in capital letters or not, but it appears that that won't work anymore either.

Well you know what I wonder is what good the bank does at all? You won't loose your money if ya die, nor does it any good if you store it in bank. (Heh would be grand if it gets more and more there, or if you can spend it in stocks)

I store it just out of habit at the bank but why should it.
You just get benefits if you have it in your pocket, or am I mistaken here?

I just posted something to the dev boards about this also. I added a few suggestions about how to fix it. It may take some time for them to fix the issue. There are LOADS of uphappy people after this patch, lol.

The devs know about (and aren't happy abuout it). I reported it when the first thread went up here. it is considered sxploitive of other players, and if you catch people, feel free to report them to CSRs. I dunno why the e-mail changed format. I'll go post for TH again. right after I hit send.
