Thread: Bank tips no longer use Upper case on names...

Untill its fixed just carry all your cash on hand. It will be extreamly easy to see if your bank balance goes up from tips this way. Say you sell all your buffs for 10k. If you dont see 10k in your bank they dident tip you.

Yes, that was me who mentioned that. I was going by what I read on the Dev boards. Lots of complaining there. I for one have no problems with this patch, other than the who email scam thing, which is easily avoidable.

I comfirmed today that I can't tell the difference anymore before a real and a fake bank tip. Both use lower case for the name of the sender.
Guess it's time to refuse bank tips altogether...

Or tell them to not send you the tip until you're ready. Then check your bank account and see if it goes up when they "tip".

You have got to be kidding? The outcry from tip-reliant professions has been tremendous... So they went and made it easier on the scammers???

It was probably unintentional. They may even fix it with the crafting hotfix...who knows.

I got a tip from a guy... no upper cases. So I asked my friend to send me one... no upper cases. Sigh.

people just complain cause they LIKE to complain, or simply hope too much, I never had to complain about dev's job, even tho I disagree with some of their choices, just undestand one thing you should have understand by now:
some patch -> some bugs
that's an absolute reality in all MMORPG games, so you can whine, complain, cry all your tears about that lower case sh1t, it won't change anything, earth will stay round, and all the patch in the world will still come with bugs and crap.
so yes people complain cause they are stupid, stupid why ? cause they do think that everything in that damn world should be perfect and made just for em individually as they want, as soon as possible, of course, cause they pay, they want the game/patchs to be absolutely perfect.
want an advice for all whiners ?

Can talk about bank tip until you are blue in the face, but the underlying ROOT problem will always be there: WHY DO WE HAVE A BANK FOR CASH?? Why don't we carry all cash on us at all times? There are no corpses, we have zero chance to lose body, and we get penalized for transfering money out of the bank... But yet missions continue to put money in the bank. WHY?
Take away the banks cash deposit and watch the scams go down...
