Why do people still normal tip when our buff macro specifically says "BANK TIP TO GET IN LINE"!!???
I don't get it... do you?

I mean... please, someone help me out here... I'm very confused. You're buffing... your macro says to only do bank tips... but this "possible" n00b still normal tips you... and complains when you say you are keeping the tip because of their stupidity.

I dunno... I don't get it... for months and months it's become common to BANK TIP to get in line. Right? Why do people still normal tip when you ask for bank tips.
I'm going insane here... the IQ level of some players is making me crazy.
I'm writing this because the kind of people I'm talking about in this thread aren't total n00bs. I see them with titles like Novice Bounty Hunter or Master Dancer. That proves they have been playing for at least more than 1 week. And even in 1 week, they still haven't figured out that if you want to get in a buff lineup, us Doctors use the Email system to keep track of whom we buff next.
Help... please someone tell me what'sup with these people.

this would have been put to better use in the galaxy forum or any other forum but this one...sheesh

well why not grow a stupid brain and make a buff house? then you wont have to worry about tips ever again.
but lol if yout to retardedly blind to see the huge white. "this player tipped you XXXXX" on your screen for 20 seconds well... then dont be a doc or drop the macro and grow some ballz

If your so worred about it. Put in your macro. IF YOU DON"T BANK TIP ME NO BUFF. and then stick to it. Problem solved

Well, you can do 2 things...
1. Get everyone to form a line. Tip when it's their turn. This is what we do on Tempest and it works great.
2. Change your text coloring for the word "tip" to red or orange, etc, for easier visibility.

I've been trying to do this for the longest time and can't get it to work. How do you do it? Does it work differently then how you do it to name a house?

How hard is it to tip money back?
If this is already driving you insane, i'd suggest to surrender doctor. Or at least the buff sessions.

well actually. its a hig RED line for me.. and if someone cashes me, well i make a mark in the email quue to add him in somehow..
some ppl are so "greedy" that they dotn want to pay the extra 5%, that might be the reason to cashtip

Our buff macro? Who is us? I assume you're not talking about the majority of Doctors as i rarely see doc's asking for bank tips (on Eclipse anyway) but mostly for "fast tips".

What has someone's title, or how long they've been playinggot to do with knowing about buffs? I was a Master dancer/Master marksman before i started getting buffs about 2 months after a started playing the game.
Help... please someone tell me what'sup with these people.

Some servers don't use the bank tip/crowd method, so posting this here is just annoying... post it on your server forums.
Shadowfire uses a physical line method... nice for docs and customers that don't mind actually sitting at the computer while they wait... let's them know exactly how many people are ahead of them too.

oh wow. as long as im paid im fine. i just check my cash supply each time to see if it grew or not, no biggie. i know with bank tips they can be forged in a sense. i have a friend who sold an av-21 for a million only he didnt cause he never checkedhis cash amount to see if it grew a mil, only looked for that green light that he had a new email and then only glanced over the email. anyway my friends experience has taught me not to concern how i am paid, only that i am paid first and make sure that i am paid.

Blooped, you've obviously never been a doctor.
Between all the millions of tells you get every minute, trying to keep an eye on which buff you just gave the person, watching your bivoli, watching the screen for those talking in spatials, possibly running a solo group at the same time, it's just EXTREMELY hard to be able to pick up "so and so tipped you money" to come up on your screen.
Most wonder why docs dont talk to you. Well, you have to right to complain until you've been one buffing in coronet or somewhere busy, sometimes being the only doctor around, so you're linups are 20-40 people long....
It's insane. We do the best we can and when someone tips instead of banking chances of seeing it are acually slim. There are WAY too many tells "How much for a buff?" "are you buffing?" THIS is why docs have macros. Dont come up asking me how much or if I'm buffing when my macro is on.
The problem is, people complain on docs WAY to much without realizing what's entailed. We're not like dancers who hit a button and dont have to watch anything else.
If someone does tip me, I try to make sure that I look at the system message to make sure I got it. Then I will put them in line. but this holds up the line for everyone else as well since this takes time to do.
So Blooped..... become a doc, buff and we'll see how well you do.

I know what you are saying here. On sunrunner most docters use the bank tip method. I do it so I can keep track of my line. If someone does tip me a regular tip I will mark the whoever bank tipped me before them so that I can buff them in the order of the line. I also remind them next time to try to remember to bank tip. Its very confusing to watch all of your chat tells at once. And docters get about 50 tells at one time lol. Then ppl get mad when you don't respond right away. I might try the line up way. But one question how do you control line cutting
