Thread: DOCTORS MAKE TO MUCH MONEY
4hrs 15 mins to make 1 million credits at 10k credits per buff. (i say 2.5minutes because with lag, talking to people, and people notpaying on time, its about 2.5 minutes to buff a person)
NOW lets look at the non crafting buffing drs.
ur buffing 100 people, that is about4 sets of buffs.... 4x120k (cost per set of buffs)=480kk

Ok, gonna try to keep this short:
100 buffs is about 3 and a half sets of buffs...
On average my buff packs only cost me about 5 - 15k a set (I like to hunt in my spare game time)
So...for that few hours worth of "work" I get to claim about 950k out of 1 mill. as profit, and that's assuming I'm charging 10k per buff(which is a safe assumption).
People should charge whatever they think their time is worth/whatever they think people will pay

Tough choice, my vote goes to anything except public buffing.

Lol, didn't mean any confusion there, I MAKE my own buffs, it's really not that hard compared to other crafting professions. Worst case for me is that I use meats that I've bought on the market (usually real cheap), and about once every couple of months I might spend a couple days hunting some really good meat for myself. In the end I have months worth of buffs for (what I consider) a relativly small amount of work (but I love crafting so I'm biased). I usually only have about 200k creds on me, but when I need more I just park it in Coronet and get to know some people (while I buff that is).
Ah, a bit clearer now, Your style is my style. i have enough resources to supply all of bria with 'decent' buffs for about a month and a half (crafting and selling the sets wise) but i dont coz i dont like the economics of it, i dont complain about the economics either, i just live with it, i just find it funny that some poeple say us dr's are all rich and deserve no more than 10k a set, you can call this complaining if you want, but i dont buff bot, i buff guildies, and i buff random people for free, i dont pay for my buffs,im a decent crafter at 11 points and i make most, scratch that, all of my money killing jantas and rancors.
I also rarely have more than 300k-1mil on me at any given time. Im not poor by any means, i can make 10 mil in 2 days if i cash farm jantas. i just choose not to unless i owe someone money. I like playing the game. so play how i like. i just started this thread coz someone said dr's make 1mil from buffing 10 people at 10k a pop, i didnt understand their theory or formulas on how they came to that conclusion so i posted this thread

Who is holding you back?
Perhaps money isn't the #1 concern for some of us.
Never said it was, just stating facts. And as a side note, if you ENJOY buff botting, have at it, buff bot to your hearts content.
I randomly buff bot coz i enjoy it, i buff bot for 10-15k depending on the planet im on. but i only do it for fun, i never do it as a source of income and i only charge because the dr's around me get mad if i do it for free.

Public buffing involves... God forbid... CUSTOMER INTERACTION! Some (i.e. most) docs don't share my view, and I think that's why some (i.e. most) docs end up getting complaint after complaint.
hehe, you're right that is a buff bot....and that goes against my 2 biggest doctor complaints
1. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPAM!!! hehe, enough said there.
2. I know it's hard to hold a conversation with 10 - 15 people who are waiting on you, but I do try and for some players it does make all the difference. I've had people come to my line just because I wasn't spamming and appeared to be social with them, even when my buff stats were'nt quite as good, or my line was a little longer.
