Hmm.. take a look at when this macro first went up. I bet you it beat your 'buff droid' idea by quite some time.
I know I have many very happy and very satisfied customers for my buffbot. I have alot of people who play at off hours who are happy that they can get a nice, affordable buff whenever they need it (assuming I've logged in).
As to the /target sofa -
Sometimes you get a 'cannot see your target' error which would cause you to self buff. I have 3 items all starting with the letter 'a' scattered around my house this way if I happen to shift position during the day I will always have an unobstructed view of one of the items I select to prevent self buffing.
Recharging the Droid-
Sorry, can't help you there. I don't use droids as part of the buffing macro. Too much work.

I think what might work is putting a battery in the toolbar, and setting up another macro. It is something like
/ui actiontoolbarslot07 (07 is where the battery is at).
/pause ## (## is how long until you need to recharge your droid)

Pretty sure that will just make you examine the battery.

Hi everyone this is -spongebob- in game name or Zticulous and I have been a master doc for a LONG time, ive noticed that you guys have a problem when there is no one in group and you buff yourself? Well if you all want to know the answer here it is!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT TYPE IN THE HEAL YOU ARE GIVING in example /healenhance health; DO NOT TYPE THIS IN!!!!! Please type in /healenhance; /pause 25; /healenhance; ect ect ect this will buff any part of you that isnt buffed, if WILL NOT buff anything that is BUFFED ..... I thought that someone would have posted this already and this is how I do buffs, if you do type in the buff that you want to enhance it will reapply it ... Thanks in game name / or email for thanks is -spongebob- or Zticulous... Id appreciate it if someone sent me a tell or replied to this thanks Opps! btw my characters are on the BLOODFIN server thanks!!!! hope it goes wel =]

The self-buffing was taken care of by using the /target xxxx (im my case, /target a, which targets a speaker near me) and gives me a 'you cannot buff this' error. The reason for specifying the attribute to enhance is that this allows you to overwrite existing buffs of equal or lesser power.
Thanks for all the positive comments guys.

The only way i see of getting around the Droid issue, is to tell the person you are buffing to pull out a med droid of their own for max buffs... it wont work for everyone, but those that want ot get the max possible buff wont mind buying and using their own droid.

Great idea!
I'll be testing that as soon as I get a chance.

Make 2 macros, one for the buff, and one for bivoli. Place Bivoli in all of the toolbar slots except where to 2 macros are (don't place buff packs in your toolbar, ues /healenhance command). Say you have bivoli that lasts 10 min, then your bivoli macro shoud hit that specific F# button, and /pause 605; (I always give a little extra time just to make sure it wears off completly) and then hit F#+1, and Pause again.
This wont make you go on forever, but i shouldgive great buffs for those first few. The only problem is if you dont buff anyone for the 1st hour, then you have just wasted about 6 bivoli. Im still trying ot find another way
