Thread: Automated Buff 'bot' Macro
What a great use for otherwise unused private med centers!
Considering the current lack of avian meat, I might have to use a wound healing alternative rather than buffs. Anyone have a good idea what a fair price for heals might be? I'm used to people tipping what they can afford, and everyone has different levels of wounds.

Oh one question from those of you who seem to understand this issue....I'm covert reb. What happens if I heal an overt reb using this macro? (In my own hospital.)

You'll soon be standing outside your hospital ![]()
I've been running the buffbot for several nights now at the Camelot Clinic. It works fine.
But everytime I log out and in again, both macros are reduced to one line each, and I have a series of blinking empty custom macro icons. It's a bit of a chore to have to cut and paste them again every night. Any idea why they aren't saving?

I use this macro, and it starts the buff off with Health??? It only buffs 4 stats, then re-applies stength and health. I misses action and quickness. Is there somethign I am missin???
any help would be great

how do eat food and how do you i recharge my droid and privet tell to them
As far as eating food goes, I don't believe you're going to find a command like /eatBivoli. You'll probably just want to drag a bunch of them to empty spots on a toolbar and cycle through them in the macro.
As far as recharging the droid goes, I am trying to figure that out myself...

I started using this macro and I don't know about everyone else, but seems like everytime the server re-booted the macro would get truncated or otherwise messed up. So, if me macros are gonna get deleted all the time I decided to make this an Alias file.
**Beginning of file**
Bark: /say If you need to be buffed, please pay the entry fee, then invite me to your group. NO OVERTS.;/pause 2;/say Sometimes it will take me a little while to respond to you due to how the macro works.;/pause 2;/say Please make sure you are not in a group when you invite me, else I might end up not buffing you.;/pause 2;/say should I run out of medicine, please notify me via email as to this for a full refund.;
gogroup: /target m;/pause 5;/target m;/join;/pause 10;/ui action targetGroup0;/ui action targetGroup0;/pause 5;/bow;/pause 5;/sit;/say I'll start now.;/pause 10;
Buff: /healenhance action;/pause 20;/healenhance quickness;/pause 20;/healenhance stamina;/pause 20;/say Halfway.;/healenhance strength;/pause 20;/healenhance constitution;/pause 20;/healenhance health;/pause 20;/say All done!;
ditchgrp: /disband;/stand;/pause 3;/say My pleasure to serve you. May the force be with you!;/cheer;/sit;/pause 10;
**End of file**
Keep in mind these are all one line (no extra spaces or special character) commands, the space between each line is a carriage return. Save the file in your swg directory - I called it buffage.txt. You might place it somewhere else as a back up. In game, you load this with the command /load buffage.txt.
the macro itself when you are in the game:
/bark;
/pause 20;
/gogroup;
/pause 30;
/buff;
/pause 130;
/ditchgrp;
/pause 25;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
Now if this gets truncated or otherwise obliviated itis easy to reload or whatever. Your pause times in both the macro and the alias file may have to be adjusted. If your alias file one line commands get too long you might have unexpected problems. You will find that if you /dump you will have two paused chains - this is normal as you are pausing the macro to allow for the pauses in the alias file. If your times in the macro are not longer than the pauses in the alias you will have problems.
Anadded benefit is you can add more commands to your buffage.txt and use them live also. If you want to buff someone personally (not as bot), you can still /buff as long as you have your alias file loaded. I just got done with this. It is looking like it works pretty good at the moment, but I can't of course ensure you will have great results ![]()

I used to have the same problem with the truncation.
What i did was to break it down into two seperate macros
Barking Macro:
/shout blah blah come get buffed, blah blah, no overts, blah blah, you know the drill;pause 5;
/macro buffage; (this actually calls the second macro) Buffage Macro: (the rest of the macro for joining, enhancing, etc)
/macro barking; <- calls the barking macro, so i don't have to worry about toolbar slots.
No, it was turned down because they just didn't like you. The communitytold me all about it last week.

Wow. Gee. AFK Macroing Doctors.
I remember posting a thread about a 2-1B Buffing Bot that acts like a vendor, gives people buffs (of which the Master Doc who can set it in their home or whatever can replace with better ones) - and the doc gets the cash...and I was told "No, bad idea, that would promote AFK Doctors!!!
What a hypocritical community docs are. 1 stars for all.
