Bottom line, TUMBLING WAS NOT designed intentionally to provide medics/doctors with quick efficient methods of aquiring experience points.
Maybe BE's should be able to sample tumblers too!
Maybe they should make tumbler assistant droids!
Maybe make a whole profession called tumbling!
Tumblers just can't admit that this "method" was not intended as part of the game.

Heh, since when have players confined themselves to playing the game as intended. So far that I can see the Dev's have not branded the practice an exploit.

In fact, as I see it as a launch player, the med centers are not really living up to the Dev's expectations. I.e. not being played as intended. Without the tumblers, who would be in the med centers? I got to 4440 via tumblers (fyi) in the coronet med center. Busiest city in the galaxy and during my time there, would you like to guess how many wounded people came in? Perhaps 1 'real' patient an hour. Maybe once an hour some poor sod who got a bad clone job had need of some medical attention. And no, they didn't get ignored. While the tumblers might have been afk, most of the wannabe docs wern't. Often someone would start getting heals off before i could even target them properly.

As I see it, the current state of the profession supports several different playstyles. Some can learn the profession the 'blood and guts' way via grouping and what not. Others can learn it the path of the 'veteranarian' via pets and such. Still others can do the 'medical school' thing via tumblers and walk-in's.

The point is that would-be doctors have choices of play and isn't that the point of free will? What would happen if the Dev's picked one path and made the other paths unplayable? What if the only way to work up the profession was healing or buffing or whatever your dog spot. What if the Dev's desided that the tumbler method was the best since it keeps the the med centers populated with players? Never assume the Dev's will pick your playstyle as 'THE' correct and intended playstyle.
