when i buff it's only in remote places. i charge 8k, and i'll always charge 8k and sometimes i buff rebels for free. if every doctor starts saying "look how much combat professoins are making off our buffs, lets charge 20k" whats stopping chefs from saying "look how much these doctors are making off our food, lets start charging 500k for a crate of bivoli."

I don't say we incress because of how much they make off of my buff. I say we do it because we can make more money doing what those combat professions do so there is no reason to buff anyone besides myself and friends.
So realy there is no reason to buff if I can be more efficient in my time.

the profession almost powerlevels itself just by buffing, a skill in an entirely different profession.
Someone set me right if I'm wrong please?
You're absolutely right, GJ. I almost mastered CM before I even knew it (minus the crafting xp, of course... that was work). I think that if you have the available skill points, every doc might as well master CM. If not for the skills, just for the badge!
Mastering CM is so much easier if you do doc first, even if you don't fully intend to be a doc forever. The main reason is that you can make a lot of money while you are gaining all of the xp you need. That beats paying for tumblers any day. Plus, it goes so fast, you barely even notice it. My wife's character on another server took twice as long as I did to master CM. She was so pissed.... I told her she should have done doc first!

All buffs should be free! And Docs should just tip everyone they buff 10K for allowing themselves to be buffed, now thats only fair! /HEAVY SARCASM HA, you pleople should listen to yourselves. I Wish so hard, that you all would listen to me. If all Docs decided to ban together and not sell ANY or give ANY buffs for 1 week, you would ALL know what I'm talking about. THEY NEED US. We are not the pissants they make us out to be. If WSs go one strike for a week, no biggy, weapons last Months. Docs going on strike would KILL the economy. Some of you have no clue what we are worth. Think of what would happen if there were no Docs buffing anymore for just one mesely week and then tell me what you think is a fair price. 3-5K for 2400 pwr buffs, uh huh, you are they type of people who are ruining doc for the rest of us. *wine* But I make money off of that *wine* Ok, well if each buff costs you 2K, then you can sell them for 2001 creds and make money. Try that and tell me how you don't want to charge that little. But why, you are still making a profit?
I am sick and tired of being treated like a boot licking servant on Chilestra. I'm not a peon, I'm not your slave. There are the few rare gems of people of the bunch, but too far between. I have had it fully with buffing for money. I make a heck of a lot more buffing myself and running rancor missions as a Rifleman then selling buffs. I never wear my tag unless it is a few seconds after I log in, and need to turn it off again. And if someone reads my profile, sees Im a doc, and wants buffs, I tell them Im running missions and they had better give me a darn good offer to stop. 20K is min for them to get me to stop.
God this enrages me. Its one thing for the jerks of the galaxy who arent docs to attack us for prices. Then it just drives me over the edge that there are undercutters, see my previous post on this thread, and Docs who treat other docs like dirt as well. If we cant treat each other civily and have some loose alliance how are we ever going to function properly as a profession? The SWG economy is modeled after and supposed to mirror the current economy. WHERE IN THE NAME OF VADER DO YOU SEE ONE DOC DOING BRAIN SURGERY FOR $100,000 AND ANOTHER DOC WITH THE SAME ABILITY IT DOING FOR $10,000? Maintaining prices, thought they may change SLIGHTLY and SLOWLY, is crucial for a stable economy. And some docs out there are killing it.
I suggest you guys do the same as me. Leave the buff bot life and do combat. Buff yourself and do missions. Then when all the Docs are doing that and everyone else is crying "where have all the docs gone, we need buffs" Then they MIGHT start treating us with respect, and perhaps Docs could be civil to one another then.

Thank you. I lost it a little bit there, but I think I had ample reason to do so. I think every doc should read this thread. I just pray that most will agree with me and many will change their ways.
