Thread: Want to solve the pricing/buff epidemic? Read Inside!

Just cause of this thread I am going to go out and buff for free at some planet that people would easily pay high for the buffs. All you crying docs that don't like people who cry about buff prices make me sick. Us docs are already in low supply. And you can pretty much charge whatever you want for buffs. People are going to cry if you charge 1cr. I'll prolly get some people complaining about free buffs today. But that is who people are. Be a doc and do your job. If you don't like your job then do something else.
Bro ive done this, and you are 100% right, they wont ONLY complain, but when you spam 'FREE BUFFS FORM A LINE' you will get inundated with tells asking 'whats the power?' and when you say 2150 ( because they are free and you dont wanna use bivoli) they say 'pshhh those buffs suck, no way im tipping for those!'
*gins* dont laugh, its actually happened to me, i said 'free buffs' he said he wasnt gonna tip.

Just a note:
My JOB is what I do to make the 15 bucks a month for a subscription.
How I want to play my Doc character, or "be a doc", in SWG is dictated by me and no one else. No matter how many people cry about how much they know how I should spend my time, money and effort.

Pardon me for jumping in, but I don't recall Zulummar ever claiming that a rookie was "as good as" a veteran.
Anyways, that's not necessarily true. I'm a baseball fan, and rookies can (and sometimes are) better than veterans. Take a look at any Rookie of the Year winner and compare him to the last bench player on the worst team.
Raw talent does account for something.
Ok, ill concede on this point, but our debate/discussion was based on intellectually knowing your craft. Not physical prominance. Someone who is 60 years old can rarely outrun a 20 year old. So in essence, a rookie runner can be faster than a veteran runner. But thats not what our conversation was based around.
Oh and don't eat red Meat.
