Correction!! or rather an update...
Ahazi Corellian Avian Meat is now selling for 400cpu!!!!!, yes that's right you heard me correctly 400 cpu... this is in the 3rd day of the spawn I might add..
what a good time to be a ranger or have hunting4..

Current Avian meat spawn on Ahazi: OQ 921, PE 977, DR 824
Last selling price has been for 300cpu and I can guarentee you this will go up as this spawn gets older, currently its in its 3rd day.

Well in theory it seems a lot, but you can run about 12 missions an hour if you're lucky, for about 3k of meat, you prolly get around 350k an hour at this price including the mission rewards (4k on Dath). You get the same amount or more running janta missions on Dant and you can get loot to sell, without having to invest in any scouting skills... So it's a question of perspective really.

It's not as bad as Rori or Tatooine, but it's significantly more labor intensive than Yavin IV or Naboo, or even Lok for that matter.
Three basic drops:
carrion spats
rasps (very small harvests, except in the Agrilat)
gulginaws
Only carrion spats currently seem to be accessable from mission terminals.

You can get rasp missions but you need to be low level - same thing as Peko Peko missions on Naboo.

Nobody would not even bother getting rasp mission if carrion spats are available IMHO!

We had a spawn of avian on dath on tempest which was over 925 (even higher i think, not in game to check) on all stats. Nasty stuff, and it only went for an average of 100CPU during the spawn, and god knows what now that its been gone for a couple months. But the 925-935 packs...mmmm...tasty
