Interesting. How exactly do I convince someone who has meat to sell it to me for a lower price? I'd really like to know your secret for convincing people to sell for less.
And don't try the 'harvest it yourself' position because you'll be making a generalized and false assumption that everyone has combat or scout skills to do that.
You must be a new Doc on Bria. 250 cpu was the going rate for high quality Avian meat while in spawn. It goes for higher in auctions. You also can't make buff packs by hand so you'll always want enough meat to do a large enough factory run to make it worth your while.
Pachop deserved the response he got. Plus he can't spell capitalist.

Someone wants to sell me meat, they say 150cpu, i choke on it coz last week it topped out at 35cpu..... Now what do i do that the most money ive ever had in my account is 500k and i only have about 50k to my name. how do i convince him to sell me the meat at 35cpu?
Regardless of HOW it got jumped up, just wanna know how to get them to charge for less. soon as i find this out, ill start a resell business, to bad it doesnt work this way. 250cpu is goin rate for best spawn Avian on bria, regardless of why it jumped all doctors have to contend with it.
Im sorry that you dont have a guild to help you out (and btw, my guildmates have never helped me out harvesting meat, I do it solo ) or friends that have the scout ability. There are tactics that you can use, but Im not a good source of them. Just try to think about the problem and what resources you have around you to help you solve it

Uh! This is going to be so much fun!
Ok first off, not new to the profession. Been a doc for a long time just for the pleasure of meeting new people, that response is just an excuse to try to talk down to someone - very bad tactic. Second those prices were set by people like you who overpay - this 250cpu is a response to doctors trying to overbid each other, simple as that. Secondly, harvesting your own doesnt have to mean you get it all by yourself, ask guild members - if they get free buffs they will have no problem doing a guild raid for those resources. Further more, even at 250CPU, if you make your own buff packs, you are talking at least of a300% profit (and that is a very low value).
So no, your response to my comment was not appropriate and was completely devoid of any valuable information.So, pleasedon't call someone a moron just 'cause they don't see your point of view; so what if he can't spell capitalist? There is nothing to say that someone has to spell correctly to have an intelect or have common sense. Do I agreewith his point of view? No. But he has every right to voice his opinion on how doctors in this game work or abuse the control we have over the cost of buffs. So don't be calling people names or degrading anybody in any manner because you lack the ability to have an open mind and accept another point-of-view aside from your own.
