One thing about the 2 people thing though is most people soon if not already will have a second slot on 1 of the servers as they will get it by unlocking the FS slot. So you might find groups get a few people who are spys for their faction (make the second character of opposing faction to be able to find base times and all that) and just use them to do a faction point scam.

Just like current people that have a 2nd slot unlocked, you can't have a Jedi AND his alt online at the same time for more than 10 minutes. The servers don't allow 2 characters even on DIFFERENT galaxies to be played simultaneously if they are under the same account. After 10 minutes, the server kicks one of hte players. There are other ways, like if you have 2 DIFFERENT accounts, or a friend's login name, which is why I made the suggestion of only getting FP for healing someone being attacked by an overt or only in a TRUE PvP situation, which is much harder to duplicate.

I like the mission idea, BUT there aren't high-level faction missions. I can't see any level of mission that a really good combat person can't solo. All the faction missions are a couple of opposing NPC's and their flag...that's it. Something else that needs to be put in (not really concerning the doctor forum here) is HIGH-LEVEL factional missions. It's to the point where people will run high-level creature missions to get money to BUY the FP since it is so poor to do missions to get it.

yeah, but what i was saying is that if people have this other person cos of FS or second account or whatever, you could end up with in say a guild of 10 people. If 2 of them had there FS or a second account. Then 8 of them could be rebel overts and the 2 people with the second account could log on for a while as imperials. Or vice versa, or even 9 vs 1.

So one person is just sitting there as the opposing faction, but it just standing there for a while to help all your mates, and they could always get tipped some of the FP earnt after they log out and bring on the person who is in the same faction as them.

Keldorion of Chimaera + others on other servers when i deside to reactivate them.

I guess I'm going to add my two cents as it comes to me ...

1.) Give the "Buffers" a buff window, similiar to the diagnosis window. One click and you can see what that person sees as if they clicked ctrl c, a smaller window of course .. but you see the bars and numbers. Then also a button on each to buff, it would pull from your inventory. Basically, the word "health" in itself would be a button, just click it and it buffs that stat.

The easiest way to reduce what you have in your inventory would be to carry crates and when you buff, have it pull directly from yourcrate .. rather than pulling each one individually, putting it in your inventoryand taking up more space."Satchels" carry 20 items ... why not make it so you can put the buff packs in those and pull from there when you /healenhance while in crate form? If we can't usecrates, then individually is fine. You can carry all six stats, one pack from eachtaking up 12 spots, then throw in a cure poison and cure disease, that's 14. You have six more spots available forwound heals.

2.) I propose that there be a "NEW LOOT" for doctors ... a med bag consisting of 50 slots. I'd say even allow color changes and organization of enhancements, wound healing, curing and healing. But either tailors can make these OR doctors can loot them from quests or missions.

Whaddya say??

Missions for medics/docs could incorporate battlefields. Basically, goto the battlefield where PC's can fight PvP, but also NPC's are fighting around the clock. Goto a foward CP or anything, and heal/buff (buff A's and B's and C's) stormtroopers or something similar for the rebellion. The more medics/docs that do this the better your side has of "winning" the battle, which really never ends, we just keep score. Similar to other story arcs.

That keeps demand for crappy resources high (crappy buffs, Stims etc) and gives people "purpose" in the GCW.

- I support the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game! Plus CU haters can't figure out a level based combat system! - You can feel this way too!

Actually this theory could apply to all professions. Make armour and drop it ioff, weapons/powerups, BE clothing and Pets, factional Pets could be donated at these battlefields.

Whoever has a better "score" after a few monthes get a reward for their side, like more tie fighters! Or 5% less cost for faction items etc etc.
