Some of the things people posted are funny and made me laugh (especially the robots running away).

Then again most made me cringe. A lot of people are not having fun playing this game. They are quitting. Those of you who have "fun" only when someone else is not are contributing to that. It is one thing to use humor to put someone down who's just been rude to you (and as docs we do get a lot of "buff me, heal me, rez me, be a slave for me"), but some of these "jokes" are out of line. You know who you are, those of you who post how you mess with other players, scam other players and really just hurt other players. I find that sad.

Anyway, I always find it funnyto drag people when they need rezzing...whether i"m dragging them for a reason or not. I'd only do that to people I know to tease them a little. Most of the time they say its funny cause their screen slides. The funniest thing was dragging someone into a room they needed to be in during the vette. That was funny since it got them past the battledroid safely.

The other week I had my Lowca MD at Coronet, she's a neutral, and there were 2 Doctor's who would only buff thier factions, 1 imp 1 reb obviously .

This was about 2 hours before the server reset and one left about 15 mins before the other so the rebs couldn't get a buff and the imps thought it was so funny. Now if the imp doc had left first the rebs would have laughed at them so all even.

When the imp doc went and there was no other doctor at Coronet I decided to buff. I stuck my Master Doctor title on and waited for the /tell's. Instantly they flowed in so I shouted

"Buffing Neutrals only."

I was asked how could I tell if people were neutral so I said that there was no way I knew of that I could so I expected not to be buffing anyone today

Well it made me smile

Hats off to SOE. Not many companies could take the best MMO on the market and fu*k it up completely, that takes real skill.

Somehow a friend of mine can buff through a line of 20 people on 1 dose of havla, shot of brandy and muon. Nothing makes me laugh harder than sitting in Coronet watching him start at the end of a very long line and buff the entire line, not charging a credit and hearing the doctorcharging 20k a buffflip out.

Right now havla seems to last a long time if you are constantly healing, it's only if you stop doing continuous heals that it will finally go away. Before I go pvp I'll get a dance/musician buff, eat some havala and buff my whole group in about a minute or so.

My favorite thing to do is buff my secondaries and then coax all the carebears into dueling me (because I'm not buffed, honest!).A quick powerboost and some vercupti once the duel starts is more than enough to make them crap their pants.

the best thing to do is go neutral and tell people your only buffing your own faction you will show up blue to everyone so no one ever knows

/agree

most of what has been posted (loved the droid one - happened to me when i was healing wounds of m8tswhen fighting GDK) is plain slapstick. A truly funny situation is one where the target of the joke can laugh too at the end.

for a fun, if not funny thing, i once added to my spam " if you can tell me how many mictoliters in a liter, you get free buff" (the guy was off by an order of magnitude) then i spammed: "tell me a story that will make me laugh and ill buff you for free".

one player spent 10 minuts writing something that really made me lol, so she got the free buff. also i routinly spam "if you have 2 or less badges, ill buff you for 2k" usully about 2 players per session (and i only public buff about once a week for 20 p-30 players only) takes me up on it. That is fun. seeing thier expression of thanks, etc is fun.

Double agree. Some of the "jokes" are just mean acts designed to bring joy to a select few at the expense of others. I see some people there who would ill-treat docs if they weren't docs themselves. But fortunately, most are hilarious.

Dunno if many of you remember "Thumb Wars" but when my guildies are suiting up for missions or a hunt trip, I'd be there to buff them onlyin exchange for girlie giggles. "Half now, half later", I'd say. It's just the thought of them gigglinglike the characters in "Thumb Wars"did it for me. Most of them were stunned at first but they slowlygot used to my fetish and now I get my cue to buff whenthe chat channelis flooded with "Ehehehe... Hehe?". LOL.

I was at the Geo Caves in the Crazed Geo's room with one other guy. I had my Novice swordsman tag up and the guy thought it would be funny if he brought all the crazed geos by me adn peaced them in order for me to die so he could have the room to himself. Well as the Crazed geo's relentlessly attacked the both of us, my HAM was falling just a tad more than his was. He starts laughing at me and making snide comments and when my hame got pretty low I decided to heal myself, completely. I then decided to peace the geo's as he tried to fight them off of him with the little hame he had left. He then asks me to heal him lol. I told him I would love to. /paused about 5 seconds - He asks me well when am I going heal him?? I said not at the moment, i just used my last stimpack. I honestly dont know what the guy was thinking.

Ill probably get flamed for this one, but I thought it was funny.

I was buffing in Cnet when some guy asks me if I can buff over 2500, i told him no. He then asks if I can db and rez him to which I reply sure. Noticing the guy is a rebel and I am faithful to the empire, I promptly db the guy. He then consents me to rez and I tell him, "I am sorry, Imperial law will not allow me to Rez you or Buff you, Have a wonderful day!"

Never recieved so many hate tells since.
