IMO this is awesome reward for playing the game and personally hope that it will help to reduce the crazy prices on buffpacks.
To, be honest i have to agree..
But, for arguements sake, lets say there are 10 MDocs on a server. 2 Of them are the longest running/most rich.
The patch comes along, and all 10 Docs get their 30k of "t3h 00bar3st" Avian ever.. However, the 2 docs, have a couple accounts, and purchase 30k stacks of the meat from 10 of their friends.. that = 390,000k of Avian. Now, the other 8 Docs, compile their buffs, and sell them at "rock bottom prices".. the market is flooded with the 8 other docs Buffs. 30k's worth of buffs, only equates to about250 Buff sets. (1500 individual).. so now we have around 2000 full sets off buffs on the market. Say you sell them in 5 set packs, which means there are 400 people who will have these buffs.. that wont last long..
ok, so, now the other 2 docs, have their large stash of Avian, remember this is completly hypothetical.
Doc, has 390k of avian.. which will make around 3350 Sets of buffs
(20100 individual buffs
- Edit: wow, say you sell them at 20k a pop, thats 402,000,000, omfg.) Anyways, heartattack over.. obviously, this doc.. would have a longer running stock than the other docs put together.
Anyways, lol.. prices, imo, i only see a price war at the start. between all the docs trying to get their "uberestest bestestest "buffs out on the market. Once thats established, or sold. Prices will return to around the mark they were prior to this influx of buffs. At the end of the day, its not the nessaserily the crafting docs fault for the buff prices, initially imo, you should start looking at the Cnet buffer, and the buffbots. imo, they should charge 100% of the buff price to them. so, if they buy a set from me, which costs them around 3000~ so they, in theory should be charging 6000cr for a buff in Cnet.
Its true what they say, the rich get richer, but then again, life is like that aswell.

To be honest, I do not think this would be a good reward.
Imagine all the rangers that will have nothing to harvest, most of the docs will have stock piles of millions of units (or a couple docs that buy it all)
This would leave only the newer docs that would presumeably start out with 30k of the meat.
These poorer docs would be few, and therefore the demand for meat would go down, and with it the ranger community.
This will result in a surplus of amazing buffs
buff prices will drop drastically.
The supply for buffs will exceed the demand
haha did u write the plot for Armageddon ?
