I read a few of the replies here and yeah, doc is how you make it. I carry everything on me at all times (I make and sell it, I'm guessing I should use it too) and I always end up using them all. Generally the DOT cure items go to other people in need, such as if I see someone on fire after a friendly duel, I go run and put it out, I'm just that good of a guy 
. But as for never having to use stims and the like...like most people said here, even the lower end high level stuff can hurt quite a bit. If you go to geo and face up to a nice alert droideka....you're gonna need a stim after that for sure. Doctor is a great prof to make money (if you choose to), keep yourself healed, and support for others....but just don't think you're super uber quite yet
