So if the devs wont acknoweldge it keep sending it too them, put a new post up once a week or twice a week untill they either kick you off (in which case if they do they would have alot of unhappy docs and medics) or make changes to shut you up. persistance is the key.

This arguement is fairly simple, and boils down to a few basic things, which Im sure have even been stated in this thread.



1 - /medicalforage is in the tree, and an acknoledgement of the need for medics to have a way to get resources.


2 - People generally dont cater to medical crafters, because resources are too hard to get (5 planets), have to stringent a quality requirement, and the people that need them are typically not very wealthy, unlike the weaponsmiths ect, who can turn a profit even paying 20 cr a unit.


3 - Out of all the professions that dont have survey, docs and CMs have bar none, the hardest resource requirements, period. Take chef (ok so these do have survey but still) Reactive gas, cereal, and mineral for tat sunburn. Or smuggler - Water, radioactive, and mineral for Muon gold. This is a far cry from something like a stim E.. Berries, Fiberplast, lokian wheat, tatoonian fiberplast, dantoine berries, talusian water, petro 4, and herbavore meat. Ok so thats with adv comps - but who makes meds without using adv comps?


I have stated before, that I feel that the addition of /survey in some capacity for medical professions is the suggestion because its simply easier to envision how that would work to help those people out. Even the devs cant figure out what to do with medical forage, and I dont think they care honestly.


So I think this is more a case of obvious need, than any actual greed, because the demands of the class, and even the skills IN the class suggest it is so. Survey isnt the best way to fix it, just the easiest way.


Also after giving pet stims that require no medical skill to creature handlers, I fail to see why giving some form of survey to a medic, even though not an optimal solution, is so bad.

The only resaon Im signing this is to counter the assinine prices some artisans are charging for crappy resources. Asking 15-20c per unit with an OQ of 65 and a PE of 110, simply because we need it in an advanced component is bordering on thievery!!


I have to delay my Master Doctor, simply because I put 15 points into Artisan to place my own harvestors cause too many people are taking advantage of the Medic classes. If the resources were set at a price that the average medic could afford, I dont think this argument would even come about.
