I'm a master Doctor on Chilastra and I always charge 8k for buffs. There just under 900 with 3 hour duration. So there not the best buffs but its still 2000 points enhancement. Almost everyone I buff gives me 10k even though I say 8k so I have no complaints. Its is getting alot harder to find good resources though so maybe it is time for all of us to up the price. I mean lets face it crafting really good buff packs is not easy at all. Think of the advantage the player is getting with are buffs. They can go fightmobs that they would normally have no chance against. Make crazy money running missions. For example my other account is a Bounty Hunter. I Buff him up go out run solo missionsmake 200k in that 3 hour time frame. I could make more but I'm a slacker. So I payed 10k - 15k for buffs make 200k. Thats a hell of a profit. Plus the mad exp I get for fighting stuff that is always red to me.

If ANYONE bats an eyelash at your prices.....

Just say this....You would pay more than that for one bottle of brandy, and my buffs do more for more stats and for MUCH longer than even 1 bottle of brandy!

BE/Chef foods are outrageous......

Our buffs are better and cheaper by far! So don't feel guilty!

P.S.

If they get mean....tell them you have put them on ignore. I have a whole list of mean spammers who I ignore and don't loose any sleep over it!

I got doctor TEF last night with my doc alt.. since it was on Dantooine and I was waiting for a shuttle I set the price at 15k (normal pricing for the buffs I was doing is around 10-12k).

I figured that upping the price would keep the buff requests down.. well I ended up buffing 8 people last night and missing my shuttle.. annoying but livable... the funny part was another doc came up and started yelling at my customers.. apparantly he was giving free buffs out for rebels and couldn't figure out why they were paying for mine..

Maybe I was nicer to them.. dunno.. but it was a nice chunk of change (pays for the next pack of buffs)..

Wish I could have gotten a screenshot of it though.. "What is wrong with you people! I am giving away FREE BUFFS!"

I look at buffing on the side like this... they came to me and asked me to stop what I was doing and buff them.. I will charge what I feel my time is worth... if I was advertising to be a buff-[**edit**] then I would price my stuff at the going market value...

i usually have to pay between 80-120 cpu for my meat on wanderhome. honestly, if it wasnt for the prices of the meat (because i dont have harvest skills because i MUST be a fighter also, lol w/ mdoc) buffs wouldnt cost me that much. And i only buy it if is 875 OQ or higher. I guess i will start charging 10k lol, or try to.

One more question...i have a vendor and i selling enhance packs, level 90 or below buff for around 2005 each stat, and master doc level buff around 2150-2200. What are some decent prices to ask of these, i currently have them listed for 13k per pack. Is that too much because they are NOT selling LOL

You might just need to advertise some. I don't think it is your price on buff packs is out of line at all. They certainly take some effort to put together. I just don't think people know about them, if they did they would be gone almost instantly.

As for people not wanting to pay what you are worth. It comes with the job. there are a lot of jerks out there that want everything for nothing and believe the only reason there is anyone in the world besides them is so there is someone there to either serve them or to have someone they can punk on.

For me when they don't like my price I simply tell them that they are free to seek a different doctor and just pretend I was never here.

for me the larger problem is doctors that come by with better buffs and charge 6k for them. This too is their right, just like it is my right to charge 10k. So then if my line disapears I either go to another site to buff or simply log out and play my other character. Frankly I can make just as much money with him anyway.

but you should know when you are the only doc around most people are happy to get a 10k buff. Just a few bad apples out there who want everything for nothing. so I am very happy giving them nothing.

I agree with the above post.

If you really wanna know, I hardly buff at coronet anymore. All my packs are 2400 - 2500 except the ones I keep for myself (those are about 2000, but i'm stingy with myself lol) and i charge 15k easy on the advanced planets like dathomir, yavin and dantooine(not advanced, but everyone grinds weps xp there)

No one bats an eyelid at 'em, and all too often, I would be offered 50k to run to somewhere along the outpost to rez and rebuff.

You're cool dude
