Can you please explain your point a little more? I dont understand in which way JtL deals with the level system.

this is very disturbing indeed i have played the cu on the test server and didnt like it at all and after reading this post i like it even more less. i currently have 3 alts , 1 ranger tkm 1 chef and 1 almost jedi fs (my fun character hehe). i love chef andhave been 1 for almost a year now my resources r vast and very ubah as ive been working hard to make them so. i gess im goin to have to close those accounts and maybe leave swg forever very soon.i noticed the levels on players but didnt take much notice at 1st now im looking more closely. I can only assume the devs that made this cu didnt play or pay attention to the current swg as they wud have noticed its not a different gaming experience the game needed its only a little balancing and bug fixing needed to make this game perfect. the perfect developer wud have been sum1 who played swg for at least 6months to realise that the format doesnt need a complete change. actually if a dev did play this game for 6months i dont think he wud have time to develop the game he'd be addicted to it like the rest of us and have no time on his hands to do so its a crying shame that sony/lucas arts havemadethis cu and can only see darktimes ahead. i played the cu for a week and the new system isnt even better than the old so what was the point ?it seems every1 is getting ranged combat proffs too and getting pistols stopshot ability too also melee is to say the least terrible.I really loved this game too well thats my moan over with, ive now vented my anger and feel a little better haha back to making my 50fill mando wine for the masses

I couldnt agree with this more...., Having been a Master Architect and Chef. That notion of being a 12 point chef was a "milestone" because you knew you could make the best and get paid the best. The edge is what made this game fun. Making everything equal, is just plain boring. After a few months , if not weeks, what will there be to keep you playing? An extra planet and some new themepark? I think not. This post gets an A+, Says everything im feeling but in words. Good Job

While it may not make a difference afteror below X number of levels, it will help between those extremes. However haveing the best armor and weapons won't give you a win every time even around your level, tactics play a role as well.

What all this means is people will still want the best armor and weapons, even if the edge is less than it was, because its still an edge. The question that we don't have an answer for right now is how much will they be willing to pay and is that price enough to make it worth crafting the item. I think there will still be a market, for people who into crafting, but there will be a lot less part time crafters,
