Thread: Why I will not buff, heal or rez, nor group, and nor will my friends....
I heal, buffand Ress for free - if someone tips me, that's nice.
I'm glad the stupidly overpowered buffs are out of the game and happy to be a Doctor instead of a mindless buffbot.
Have fun being evil, there are enough of us still doing the job properly so you'll have no impact.

Sayic I’m sorry but I think the only thing you will do here is make other players on your server hate you, walking over a dead player and saying I’m not going to rez you because I’m cross with SoE. Maybe its time to look at what your toon does for a living b4 you are banned from every player city/town, we have players like you on farstar and I’m putting there names straight on the city ban list. 90% of players that play doc do so to help others, why do you then play a doctor, it seems to me that you are only in it for self profit and gain. You can stick your rez where the sun don’t shine I don’t need it, I would rather clone that accept if from the likes of you.
The game has changed, I know more than most none docs about this, my girlfriend was sitting next to me and she was almost crying the day the CU went live (Master Doctor and Combat Medic).
You make me feel sick and you give other doctors a bad name.

I've also been doing random free healing. There's a lot of black out there.
I'm thinking about setting up wound-healing charges, and I'd base it on character level. Up to level 20, free. 21-49, 2000. 50-69, 5000. 70+ 7500.

I have a lot of respec for the Doc's that are still around, post CU.
I did a repsec on this toon (from Master Swords-Master TK) to help out my guild and my city. I have respect for those who's wish to play in their own way. Can't fault youfor that.As for myself, I don't charge for heals-buffs. Maybe it's because I am always Special Forces and never leave the planet 
Like I said, it's a community thing. Maybe if I headed to CNET, I might make some money. I may have to give it a try.
A lot of people said I was crazy for doing this respec, but I'm having fun on this toon. Little did I know that, I would again be the TANK in the group.

Dont mean to burst your bubble , but thats why my new alt is becoming doc/musician.... I do however agree with you docs do seem to have less usefulness in some situations. I am not saying your awesome profession is nerfed , but it needs some help for sure.
Yep, I'm mad that DOcs have been made effectively worthless but I used the respec option.
You should too.
Can't fathom why you would keep paying $15 for a POS character.

I think he was clear that he considers himself in the 10% or less that isn't out trying to serve his fellow man. He's role playing an evil doctor, one who doesn't care about his fellow man. Cast Dr. Smith in the remake of "Lost in Space," very evil doctor who tries to kill people. It's a role, nothing more.
I say let the man play his toon however he sees fit. It's his $15 and if his actions get him banned, then that's par for the course.

That's what guildies are for. Plenty of guildie docs to heal my wounds. All it takes is a quick trip to their location to get free heals/buffs.
Enjoy your rebellion. Noone cares.
I kinda see his point as well. I mean to only get med xp for healing in combat is IMHO insane. In the whole scheme of things Doctors are not combat professions. That's what the Combat Medic is for. And to force Docs to have to combat to get xp is utterly stupid. I have an Entertainer\Doctor alt which is a completely (supposed to be) non combat template but after CU that's not the case.
So now I have to consider wether or not I want to keep Doc which totally breaks my gaming experience for this particular character.But if I respec, then what do I respec to? Artisan, that seems to be the only other true non combat profession left. But I don't want artisan, I went with the Ent/Doc template because I wanted that total healing package. You know heal and entertain the troops when they return from battle. But SOE in their infinite knowledge decided to just change all the professions in their Combat upgrade, whether they are combat oriented or not. So if I keep Doc, then I have to equip my Entertainer with armor and weapons (the few he can use) and with what little combat skills he has and group with a hunting party and prepare to be one hit killed on a regular basis just to continue building his Doctor skills. This is just so idiotic on SOE's part.

Most people seem to be misunderstanding the OP. I did too, when I read his first post I thought he was protesting against something. Apparently he isn't. He's just posting to inform us that he's "roleplaying an evil doctor".
This is hardly anything to applaud or denigrate. Indeed, it is hardly anything worth posting about...
