i am a master doc on the naritus server so i know how u guys and gals feels when stupid ppl ask the famous question when u have about 20 ppl in that u are buffing and u are also spamming buffs 10k....LMAO i mean come on ppl pay attention to what is going on around u and quit being stupid. but yes entertainers are not special....if i was in a buff line and a entertainer jumped in front of me for a quickness buff i would smash his skull cause its rude as hell.

Being a doc is a sacrifice of personal peace, so it's understandable when they are a bit irrate... I myself have in my description "Yes I have a Master Doctor profession badge, but if I'm not currently *wearing* Master Doctor, I'm not buffing... so please don't ask. Thx :-)" ... do I still get tells based on my badge? Yes... do I get angry? Not too much, but I sure as heck let them know why they should already know the answer.

Many people have no consideration for doctors or the job they do... I've been MDoc for a good 8 months now, and it's been worse lately than it ever has been before, at least on Shadowfire.

You have to figure that there are a lot of slow people out there. It's just we doctors have to actually deal with them all the time.

On the rare occasion I buff for cash I only buff all 6 stats. If anyone was to ask for an Action buff they'd be disapointed in my response. I know I could make a spare action buffpack but I won't. I play my doctor on my laptop and my main on my desktop. if I'm buffing then I use my macro so I only have to look at my lappy every now and again.

And no matter how much someone begged me, or even if they offered me 100k to jump the queue I'd say no. Once a doctor goes down that route he/she opens themselves to everyone hasstling them to get buffed first. I wouldn't want to have to /addignore everyone on the server

Hats off to SOE. Not many companies could take the best MMO on the market and fu*k it up completely, that takes real skill.

I have to give you some credit for coming to the doctor forum to ask a question for something you really didn't understand.. You did have enough initiative to come tous to ask your question. That is worth something.

On the other hand I hope you did get a chance to read the posts here by doctors. We get tons of tells and people wanting this or that. And please remember with /tells as an observer you don't know how many people are ranting at the doctor aboutone thing or another, including people upset that you might have skipped the line.

In doctor circles we call the Doctor title the "Doctor TEF" because it is like turning on a Temporary Enemy Flag" when I put my Master Doctor title up. Seems like people come out of the cracks in the ground to instantly let me know how disatisfied they are withdoctors and I haven't had time to pull out my droid yet.

Sometimes if I forget to change my title before I log out I find I am in the middle of an angry mob when I get back in with everyone pissed at me because they tipped me already and I haven't buffed them or even responded to them. Of course whatever happened happend because the character shows up in the game before the loading screen is finnished but I am aready in trouble before I even get logged in all the way.

And please remember that "TELL HELL" is a common experience for doctors.

I would really encourage you to try to become a doctor for awhile. The skill is not hard to gain, it is one of the easier skills to get. But public buffing is one of the harder activities in the game.

Another thing, is where your a PVP Doctor like myself. You happen to be OVERT, fighting and you rebuff / buff yourself. Then your whole faction want buffs, i use BE clothes / 900 base packs / BE Bivoli and a 110 Medical droid. Sometimes i do buff other people around me, but when they tip you 6k...

Makes me want to never buff again.

I don't buff much anymore but the rare times I do I have no problems giving entertainers a one stat buff. It just doesn't bother me. Typically they just walk up to me, send me a tell, and I'll reply np, wait until I'm done buffing the person I'm doing. It only takes mere seconds to finish them and I get mind buffs all the time so I do want to help them as much as I can. Sometimes I work out a little buff trade too. Mind buff for a one stat buff, t hose are always fun.

Shouldn't be able to...but sometimes people are kind enough to let you. If the person is nice, I usually would...It's certainly nice when someone lets you do the same...
