I always jump the docs first and leave em down with mind incaps until all of their comrades are down. Good thing is I never get ganked in group PvP because I never keep my title up and am always on the go. I never get ganked alone because, well, I also have master rifleman(and a decent(436 dmg) jawa rifle, with good comp). I would have done the same thing had I been the cm. Just gotta take it and move on. CM's are nothing if you get cure poison/disease. Doc is a day long class, make a macro to duel, kill, rez, repeat.

With all due respect to the poster of the message....you asked for it when you went Rebel. You had the good heart to help a fallen comrade, props to you on this point, but you shoulda known that that would have caused you a TEF. If you don't like TEFs, go neutral.

For me, I heal fallen comrades all the time. And if any combat medic wants to try to poison me, good luck to him. I have Disease/Poison macros running nonstop to heal me, and by the time i reach him, a dizzy KD and a few other shots kills 'em good.

I don't PVP all that often as well, but if anyone wants to try. Bring it.

In other words: as long as you are TEF'ed somehow, expect to be attacked and crushed like a bug. There is only one way to provent this, and it's been said well by Craig:

this isn't an issue of a combat medic picking on a novice doctor as it is the problem with tef. I've died many a time grinding exp in when someone popped into the med center and killed me from a tef. I personally consider the med center and cantina as neutral grounds unless a person is abusing that privelage. To this day lame overts of both factions will still come inside looking for an easy kill.

Consider it a learning experience. The thing is the CM had no idea who you were and all he saw was you helping the player he just took out.

Were you a buddy of his that he just asked for help? What other profession could you have other than Novice Doc? Just because you have a tag up doesn't mean that's all you are. The of course if you heal someone up like that they of course get the chance to kill their opponent again.

As a Master Doc myself I think it just goes with the territory. Just learn to say "Doh!" when something like that happens and you'll be much happier.

Haha, like yesterday I ride into my home city straight into 5 Overt Rebels while I was overt....Bike gets disabled and it was 5 on 1.....lol that's a "Doh!" moment. Honestly I just got a bit of a rush out of it and thought the coolest thing was after I got killed I saw a guy say "Nothing personal Just business". I don't know why but I just got a kick out of that and thought it was cool. Haha it didn't hurt too that I was riding into town to ask for a DB to get rid of my Overt status since I wanted to go shopping in peace.

Oh and never expect a "fair fight" either. I think the most even odds I've had have been 4 on 1. But it's just a game and I still find it fun. Life is only a clone away

EVERYONE gets a TEF..... Rebs, nuetrals, Imps. NOT joining a side does not eliminate the problem. If you're a nuetral and heal an overt, you get a TEF.

If you're a neutral, you can't heal anyone that'sovert.
