As for your greed argument, I can get a 25pack of buffs for 4k by buying from a great med vendor, then I can turn around and sell that for 10k a pop.. making a profit of 8k.. in 1 hour thats 30 people max I can buff. 240k of profit (not counting the cost of the Bivoli (200k a crate, consumable), droid, droid batteries (consumable) and bio clothing). So in 1 hour I can make 240k.. just a hair more than I can make doing 6 enraged rancor missions in the same amount of time (228k)..

So, by charging 10k a buff I make 12k of profit MORE by helping YOU out at the same time to make the same amount of money... massive greed there...

...of course those prices vary from server to server. On Bloodfin you can expect to pay 20-30k for good, high quality buff packs in places, 120k-180k for a full set, which tends to cut into one's profit margin.

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.

Well for longest time Combat Medics have been saying "Get a Doctor!"

Look like they went and got themselves a doctor.

I have been outraged by the price of the buffs recently, rediculous how the players have got the price so high as full buff used to cost 5-6k credits. And this is the price i'm charging these days too. New people for their lack of knowledge and the old lot because of their credit funds buy these buffs for that reduculous 10-15k credit price.
This is mainly because people noticed what us older Master Doctors new already, buffs sell good. Only difference this has that majority of past Doctors were thriven by desire to help and get small amount of credits as his/her troubles. Nowdays this has gone to greed and cruelty.
Get those rediculous prices down.

Desire to help cannot be assessed by cost-of-product.
Desire to help does not make or inhibit the making of money.
If you wish to get less than people are willing to pay, that's your bag. If you wish to get every cent you can out of it, that's your bag too. Nothing ridiculous about trying to max your profit.
Play your way, let the others play theirs.

I carry a full complement of curs and meds on me at all times. In my R2 I keep one crate each of buffs and a crate of stims. In my R4 I keep my bio cloths so if I ever do get killed and need to clone they do not deteriorate being in the droid.

I’ll cure and heal anyone who ask there is no charge for healings only buffs another thing I see that ticks me off is Doctors who do not heal wounds before they buff someone. That should be the first thing the Doctor does before he buffs his paying customer. My price for Buffs are 7k that includes any healing needed.

The one thing I do run out f a lot is the fire blanket lest in the past few weeks I’ve used them more than Before.

Yep Doc has become a major source of income for people. For you guys who earn your living this way your going to be in for quite a shock. When hologrinding dies, doc resources go up (because they won't be able to make money any other way), competition increases, and bring forth the anarchy. I want to have a front row seat. The people that make and sell meds may only get hurt by meat prices but they will see an increase in sales.

like it isn't steep as it is on some servers prices start at 250 cpu for high quality avian and perhaps thats why docs are charging 15k for buffs

Something that irriates me no end ppl **edit** "lower the prices" has anyone who whines actually considered how much cash you can earn with 1 15k buff???

I know I can earn at least 10 times the cost of the buff and I think 99% of ppl could easily do this realistically with I buff I can earn from 200k to 250k if i do non stop missions, more if i do enraged rancor missions AND PPL **edit** ABOUT 15K?????

Get real for gods sale 15k is peanuts for what u gain from having a buff perhaps if all the docs stopped buffing for a day then we would have some complaints

Oh I can't lvl... Oh i keep dying .. oh its much harder now etc

Noticed the price of exceptional (or even average) quality avian meat lately? I'm not surprised by this at all. If players are willing to pay 10-15k for buffs, then let them.

Check out the stats on this meat...only 2 days old on Tarquinas:

DR=872, FL=431, PE=965, OQ=948

I'm curious to see how much this sells for in a month.

What gets me is there's rarely any doctors who sell the B and C variety of buffs. Sure they use avian....but you can use garbage and still get a useable product. So the buffs wont push your stats 2500 for 3.5 hours, maybe only 1000 for an hour. Sell them for 3k a set. A 1k boost to 6 stats for an hour is better than a kick in the a$$ from an ikopi stag.

... but not many good doctors. Most of them don't carry a full complement of meds and almost none of them have macros set up for battle. A good doctor who has a crate of everything and instantly cures/heals every problem is wortha hundred"buffing for 10k" doctors in front of the starport.

/agree

I personally carry crates of enhanced D's, ranged stim D's and of course stim B's.

Ialso carry stim D's or E's, area stim A and C's, wound B's (150 to 200 power, 35 to 45 charges) and one set of wound E's (518 power, 50 charges) for light and heavy healing (I love healing a 1100 point black bar in one shot I keep healstate and cure poison/diseasepacks on hand.No crates, but I do carry the materials to make them when needed.

My r3 and mse storage droids (50 units worth) carry crated ASDS, ALS, ACDRM and ABEC. A couple cases of droid batteries, a spare R3 (you never know) The rest of the space is full of single/area poisons/disease for most stats, and a few raw materials. I should carry around a spare factory and some power, but the need has not arisen yet.

I plan on dropping one mse droid so I have room to load other players stimbots. Then I'll probably start carrying crates of stim A's too.

Perhaps if it wasnt so easy to get medical xp, there would not be such a surplus of doctors.

I'mjust curious myself how many of these 'new' doctors are people who are on their second or third accounts...I myself have been a Doc since July, and I really don't see how I can ever drop it (we'll see about SE though) Since many doctors, as mentioned before, aren't really into 'helping' others besides buffing for money, I would conclude many of them are probably just a money generator for another character of theirs.

Anyways, I carry pretty much every imagineable med as well (Cure state, poison disease A/C, wound C, stims, rez kit, fire blanket.) If I could, I would carry crates of the cure state and poison around with me, possibly even the wound packs, as then I can never be caught with my bacta down (Only have 3 droids with storage capability, time to up it I guess.)
