I have been a Master Doctor for quite sometime now and this is another among a long list of reasons why I never buff someone I don't know. If you're not in my group, if I haven't hunted with you, or if you aren't on my friends list... don't even ask. Sure, I need money too but I rather just run Janta missions for an hour than sit there like a cheap prostitute selling my time to a bunch of ungrateful people.

Just my opinion, but I see a lot of similarities to starport buffing and prostitution.

Have some respect for yourself and go hunt Rancor's or Janta's. Save those buffs for yourself or your friends. Why put up with abuse from people when you could be appreciated?

I tried the /summon command also on 2 different droids and it didn't work on either. At least it didn't on Starsider....

Kinda looking to get flamed here a bit? Needing some attention you aren't getting? Starport buffing and prostitution are similiar? lol

Relax and pick a real fight to fight. Wasting your energy fighting the flames you deserve for posting that bit of crap is silly. Take up the vendor nerf, one of the many tef issues, some kd/dizzy exploit, even fight about stat migration... but looking for flames on buffing for profit when people are talking about droid and pet stealing comes across as a desperate cry for attention.

And on topic, it does still work. You may have to do more then run the command but I tried it last night (on a buddy's storage droid) and it is still an issue. I won't really go into what it takes to get it going since that will encourage more of this tactic but be assured that this issue has yet to be addresses.

Ok, maybe it's not prostitution.. but I do get sick of seeing Doc's complaining about the way "customers" treat them. Honestly, I'd love to see what would happen if the Doc's went on strike for one day. Just buff your buddies and guildies for 24 hours.... that would be interesting.

Agreed, I don't like seeing the Doctors whining about their customers. As a Master Doctor my ignore list seems to grow daily, to ease space I started banning entire guilds from my services for the action of one member(make note of name and offence in my /notepad). I can deal with the ignorant, it's those pricks that go after a buffing doctors' droid that gets me. They aren't brave enough to go against something that can fight back I guess...

Funny story....I was healing/rebuffing after a big PvP fight in Bestine(ahazi type). I was grouped with everyone around me and chatting when all of a sudden some puss knuckle attacks my droid (I was TEF'd). Imagine his surprise when 15 people that were gathered around me opened up on him. 20sec later he was dirt napping, poisoned, diseased and on fire. Three black bars and noone willing to heal him

Another time, yet again my droid gets attacked - too bad the attacker was standing between two MD/TKMs. A short lived battle, of course we were the griefers because we used KD/dizzy, go figure.

Oh btw...on ahazi I can get another persons'droid to follow me, even ones that supposedly were ordered to stay.

One would think that a droid would be loyal to it's master

I suppose a Master Creature Handler could call three large-sized low level pets, rename them all to "[playername]TheGrieferSummonedMe", and tell them all to follow someone who uses that stupid trick. Use a few cats or flying creatures and he'll have to drive *very* far away to outrun them.

Go on strike did you say? That's funny because I proposed this exact thing not 20 minutes ago. Let's make the whiners cry a little more until the realize how crappy hunting would be without our "services".

Check out my thread, "Strike! Strike! Strike!", if we get enough support we should nail down a specific date to do this, and really make sure we let people know we aren't going to help them for a day or two. That's all it would take.
