Oh also skeetzo, just read your message, do you want to know ultimate revenge on someone who keeps bothering you? Let me tell you what i did. I usually buff up at the mining outpost, i was up on dantooine one night finishing my fencer prof off and a guy asked me if i was buffing, i told him i wasnt that night. Then he did the normal "oh c'mon" "it will only take a second" "please, theres no other docs around tonight" (because there weren't) etc etc... I told him no again. The he started spamming a macro saying, "Can somebody please buff me, the **edit** Doc Diablack is refusing to buff be and she's the only greedy doc in town." This went on for id say at least 20 minutes "i reported him for harassment to" but that wasnt the revenge, finally i got fed up with it, everyone in the outpost was needing buffs so i finally said, "Buff Line Is Open, All Are Welcome Except (whatever his name was)" and i stuck with it, i buffed for over an hour with him sitting there whining, your a **edit**, **edit** is your problem, c'mon please put me in line etc etc... That was my ultimate revenge, the problem is docs are never willing to stand up for themselves, next time you have some little terd on your back, stand up for yourself.

do like that tactic... must say i do stand up for myself and dont let myself bullied into doing something for em anyway i usually come out with the line
'im playing this game for me, not you.'
usually shuts em up but i just dont understand why they think there priorities should come before mine, im all for helping out but dont feel i should have to put them before myself.

Been a Master Doc for 4 months now.
I have yet to do any public buffing and never want to for the many reasons mentioned here. I, as I'm sure many who play the game, play to relax and have fun - having to deal with little waste-of-sperm turds is not my idea of fun.
I applaud everyone who has the patience to do it though. I sure do not.

I don't think doc is the only prof that has no recognition by a longshot so dont post about Dancers, Musicians etc too. This post is about doctor recognition and only doctor recognition. (Opinions?)
Wow, you hit the nail on the head. I stupidly made a thread exactly on this topic before reading this post. People are ignorant and go around charging upwards of 100 CPU for their avian meat and think that buff prices will stay constant at 8k... Um No. As avian meat costs more then buff prices will cost more. I'm so fed up with buffing mindless noobs that think i type /buff and give them 2k stats that I just buff myself and guild mates, free of course.

exactly y im giving up doc in the next month :-)...
oooooo one time i was the only doc on eclipse in dant mineing outpost! and i had a line like 12 people long and what do i hear? oh why yes: "lmao a money line for this rich doc" so hey i dont buff for him... and then the stuff that im not even gonna post starts =/

The one thing where I feel that I have most Docs beat is Customer base relationship... I never have to hunt for my Avain meat.. and because I offer buffs at such a low price (usually half the going rate) and because they are also top quality buffs.. I get customers that are willing to hunt for me and sell me avain/herbivore meat at a much lower rate...
This is why I have never understood why Docs let gathers set the price.. yes its a supply and demand economy.. but thier's is too and if Docs were smart they could force the price down easily not up like they are now..

Here is one of my best examples of rudeness while buffing. I was at the Mining outpost one night on Dantooine. I was buffing for 15k(which I feel is ok on Dantooine, because it saves them the trip to coronet) Well this guy comes up to me and asks me toDB him to get rid of a state for him. So being the good doctor I engage in a duel with him and he proceeds to kill me. and the shouts in my face thats for chargeing 15 for buffs you greedy *edit*. Then to top it off he killed my droid too. Now first off its my right to charge whatever I want, if you dont like it go somewhere else. Now see the funny part was the other doc who was buffing there at the same time as me packed up and left, so 10 minutes later who walks up to me and asks for a buff, none other than the *edit*hole who just killed me so my response was "how does it feel to need." Oh but wait it gets better. Another doc showed up at this time so the guy runs over to him and spams the poor doc that he needs a buff and that *edit*head Ryakin wont give him one. I send the doc a tell that I'd give him 20k NOT to buff afore mentioned *edit*hole. Out of proffessionalcurtosy the other doc didnt buff him so I gave him the 20k. The guy had to end up going to Coroent to get his buffs.
So for those non Docs out there reading this keep it in mind "WE CAN BITE BACK"

And that's why I never have my Master Doc title up. LOL! Thanks for the stories, guys.
Personally, I only buff fellow guildies free of charge. My buffs aren't that great, but I will go and meet them to refresh/rez/heal/whatever. I get moreHerbivore Meat than I can shake a stick at from them. And the Avian meat is only 3 creds per unit on our guild vendors. 
I never have to worry about some jerk trying to scam me or being rude. I make tons of free stims to distribute to my fellow guildies. In return, they're starting a harvesting operation to support all of the crafters and medical personnel in the guild. It's awesome to be in a supportive guild. I've been given so much free stuff (and dished quite a bit of it out as well) that I can't imagine what the game would be like without them. Will I ever be rich? No. But when I can purchase a damage-sliced T-21for 10K creds, or a droid for 6K creds with nearly every module you can imagine, I don't need to be.

I normally dont run into much problems but my ultimate revenge is when one demands for countless times to be buffed. I then agree to the buff and when he fails to ask for the stats and tips, i hit him with buff b's.

I've met alot of very friendly people while sitting in front of the Coronet Starport for 5 hours a day (not everyday, mind you, but once I start, I usually find that the rest of my day has gone by, and I haven't moved from my spot). Some of those have sent me tells while I was off planet, but usually to ask if I would come and buff a party of people. They of course were more than willing to make it worth my while to travel to them. When I was done, I'd find that they'd usually tip me an extra 50% over what I was charging, just to say thanks. I dont think I've ever made a house call when I didn't get genuine thanks at the end. But then again, maybe it has to do with my incredibly long /ignore list.

I used to do it everyday for weeks.
belive it or not i only have 6 people on my ignore list.I don't ignore some rude people because its my stupid belief that i will buff anyone that tips as long as they don't harrass me big -time they got themselfs a buff.
