No forced interaction (in an MMORPG?), but hey, the expansions sure seem forced.

(This poll is now closed. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of #1, More Powerful.)

If you could override a previous Doctor Enhance someone has, which method would you prefer to see if your new Enhance will succeed:

1) Overwrite any Doc buff which has a lower effectiveness, even if the new buff has a shorter duration. (I.E. Overwrite a 1500 power buff with a 2300 power buff, even if if the 1500 power buff would have lasted for 2 hours and the new 2300 buff will drop the duration to only 1 hour.)

2) Overwrite any Doc buff which has a shorter duration, even if the new buff has a lower effectiveness. (I.E. Overwrite a 1 hour buff with a 2 hour buff, even if the 1 hour buff had a power of 2300 and would then be dropped to only 1500.)

In other words:

1) More Powerful!

or

2) Longer Lasting!

But only if after the shorter more powerful duration enhance buff wore off the lower but longer lasting one was still active.

They will probably say that is too difficult but thats because they haven't properly designed the buff system...

#1 MORE POWER

and i would be 100% happy even if the buff lasted half as long. from a soloing standpoint, grouping and even selling.

NUMBER 1 is the most versatile and worthwhile.

It's more practical having a buff last longer.

No it isn't...

Most of the people that pay for buffs are either hard-core PvP-ers, in which every HAM point counts, or hard-core PvE-ers, in which the higher your HAM is, the easier it is to tackle multiple lairs or even high-level MOBs.

A longer-lasting buff simply isn't more versatile, over half of the people that I buff come back to me within the 30-50 minutes asking for another one, most likely because they died. About the only ones that out last the buff are entertainers (obvious reasons). Besides, a more powerful buff with a shorter lasting time is also better for us as doctors (i.e. word gets around that your buffs are good and customers keep coming back more often).

since more powerful usually mean longer duration too unless we are talking low end buffs.
