Thread: Doctors need to unite!

Ohobi,
I too know doctors that no longer buff the public. The difference is between what they do and what I propose we all do is the reason as to why they don't buff the public anymore. Most doctors that don't buff the public either 1) never intended to when they took up the profession, 2) are fed up with the high demand and low gratitude of the player base, 3) got bored sitting there for hours and hours because the lines just never go away, 4) they just don't find it cost effective.
What I am saying is that for every doctor on every server to stop buffing the public. The reasons why..... it is my hope that others will realize how much they need us. It is my desire that those people who go around griefing Doc's while they are buffing learn that without us, they are 2 shots from dead. It is my hope that by striking and withholding what we can offer to other players, those that provide us with the resources we need to make those buffs will again be reasonable in the selling of them, and finally, it is my hope that by striking, those players that are constantly complaining that a doc's buffs are too low, too short, too expensive will either learn to play within thier means or figure out that no matter how short, how weak or how expensive a buff could be, it's still better then going out to fight in your skivies.
I am not poor but yet I still couldn't afford 10k avian meat at 500cpu. I could if I chose to do so, charge 20k per buff set and still have a line that wouldn't stop. I could /addignore every single person that complained that I am charging too much for my 2400-2500 buffs that last 3 hours and 20 minutes. But why?
This is why I say we need to take a stand as a whole. By our actions, tell EVERYONE acrossed all servers that we are fed up.
LOL What are you talking about? I stopped buffing anyone but friends and guildmates over 7 months ago.
Friends and Guildmates = Free buffs but good comradery.
Friends and Guildmates come hunting 20 at a time and collect good avian and herb for me when it hits.
Public mostly a buncha criers.
Anyone I know that sells meat at over 100cpu plus gets a buff, at 50,000k per. ![]()

Tonight I counted a line of 27 people waiting on a single MD. I seriously thought about getting some lower-level buffs, sitting next to him and calling it the express lane (ok…not seriously). Im sure the MD enjoyed the money, but I couldn’t help think about how these people may act after waiting in such a long line. I also do not understand why a MD would want to be in such a situation…but to each their own.
I then thought about the folks at the end of the line. Were buffs that crucial? Sadly, they are. I remember that I 2-Box and buff up both my characters as soon as I log in. My Master Swordsman can’t survive without them. Even newbie mobs can cause a great deal of damage. Why? Because as I got higher, I migrated all the points I could to that unhealable blue bar. This lets us fight the big boys buffed, but pathetic weaklings unbuffed. It doesn’t matter if you PvP or PvE…we all do it.
So I read rumors that they might add mind heals in a future release. If this is the case, I think the situation will be much better. People can migrate their stats more evenly and people might want us around (versus just getting their buffs and leaving us for our next customer).
