OK I have experienced this from both the Doc's point of view and the Jedi's. I would like to say that the dude that harassed you was WAY out of line. It was not your fault that he died and did not have a doc friend who was able to rez him. I make it a point to know where the closest doc is, and work a deal with him that if I get DB'ed that he will come rez me for X amount. Usually works out in both our favors, and I dont get DB'ed very often, but better say than sorry. As for as how to view this from a Doc's perspective...I always carry a full supply of every type of med's I could be required to use...yes I know its alot, but with the Inventory increase its not 2 bad (plus a backpack). Just charge what you feel your time is worth to go rez someone, either that or just go off of tips. And most importantly it is NEVER the doc's fault for the death of anyone (unless they are grouped and in PvP/PvE togetehr and it is their job to keep people alive haha).

yup been there done that i had a jedi who asked my friend to ask me to rez him while i was on dant and he was on endor (before JTL) saying that he's gonna pay me 1mil to rez him. I was stil a new doc gathering resources so that extra bit helps right... anyway, I told him i wont get there in time, he said just try. So i did, of course at the time, shuttle wait was stil 5mins, got there and of course it passed the 10mins time to rez.. I tried, I didn't get paid, I got killed by whatever killed him... first and last time, i guess... i didn't get a thanks for trying or anything.. it was sad i dunno y we bother sometimes, we rez, we get arrogant behaviours, we don't, we get anoying tells, thank goodness for /addignore

When I first mastered doctor, I would gettells at least every 15 minutes from someone asking ifI wasbuffing, I could train them, etc. If you dont mind these "outta the blue" tells then leave your master doctor tag on. If you want to leave the tag on and not receive the tells then make your character unsearchable via the Ctrl + P command. As far as that particular jedi goes, its not your fault that he lost all that expierence. It is THEIR responsibility/fault for being on the terminals (suck it up and take it like a man!!! :lightsaber. If anything, he should have thanked you for coming to try and ressucitate his corpse. If I were in that situation, I would have given you some credits just for coming out to try and help me. Hehe, not to get sidetracked, but I neverexpect to get credits for healing someones wounds or, in your case, rezzing them. If I do get money, I thank them and move on.

Most credits received for a buff - 200k (guess he was in a hurry)

Best Buff Pack - 1087 (Constitution - doh)

The Revive timer is always borked, and I seem to have bad luck with it. Only ever touched the Rez pack in Group Hunts. I never put up my tag, so thats probably why I don't get swarmed with tells, but like everything, I'll do it if they're friendly, and ask a reasonable price for my time. If I have to go out of my way to go from Rori to the Corner of Dantooine, unless he's a good friend, or extremely friendly, I should be expecting something.

To be honest, its not the money, its the principle, as someone already rightly said. I'd be happy enough with a sign of gratitude. "Thanks" is enough, although I can always do with a tip

If they're rude to you, just walk off and /addignore them. You're offering them the service.
