I only once have been called upon by a jedi to rez him and was given a thank you plus 200k credits. At the time it was more than I had hoped for so I was also thankful. If someone comes at you nice then I believe they deserve a res Jedi or not. If they at least say thank you then they did well. If someone acts like you have to go to them or they dont say thank you or they get mad if you can't go... then there name should be put on the forums for all docs to see in their server with a nice big DON'T RES THIS PERSON TAG. I am working on my second doc character and this time I am gonna have my Master Doc tag on at all times. This who ear it.. res them... thise who don't let us know!

You are truely one of very few. I had one Jedi come up to me and say "Buff Me". No "Are you buffing?", "Can I get a buff?" or even "You Buffing?". I don't know about most Doctors, but I don't take to kindly to demands for buffs. I owe this Jedi nothing. But almost every Jedi I've met, is too full of themselves to treat others with respect.

Typical of some players........doc, entertainer, and medic are not "real players", they're only there to serve you.
I do get alot of /tells asking me if I'm buffing (somehow even when not tagged as doc), and if I'm not, I tell them that flat out. If somebody asks for a rez, and I happen to be nearby, can leave my game plan, and do it with minimal effort, sure, I'll run over and rez them. If somebody demands that I come halfway across the freakin' galaxy to rez them and mess up MY XP grind, I'll just say "sorry, man, I'm nowhere near you, by the time I get there, get your approval, and open my inventory, you're dead beyond my help".
If somebody asks nicely, I'll do my best. If they demand, I'll politely decline. If it comes down to a group that insults you afterwards, get names as you can, and refuse to buff them when they ask later. If they ask why, tell them. And not to be vindictive, but on Eclipse, we have a few of those, and they treat all docs the same way. We have a running list among the guilds, that if these guys are in your line, you refuse to buff them, as generally they either insult the docs, cut lines, or use the buffs to PvP non-PvP players (farming shuttleports for XP). I just suggest keeping a small list, and when that guy that insulted you needs your help later on, either refuse nicely, or charge through the nose for your help.

I'm a Master Doctor and have been for awhile, And i'm also a jedi (Almost Knight) The first time I died like 2 night's ago I sent many /tell's to doc's that were around and most of them did not have rez kit's..Or they were at the outpost (like 5k away from me)..Well I had to end up taking the 200k loss but I still said "Thank you for your time" to everyone one of the doc's I talked to..Cuz I know what it's like to be on either side (Jedi or the doc)...As for how much would I of paid for a rez if one of the doc's could of got there in time? 250k+ EASY

To start off, I Just became master Doc a day or two ago. I became a doc simply to make money, either buffing or selling medicine from a vendor. This morning, when I logged in I was greeted by a /tell from a stranger who had done a person search for a master doc. He was a jedi who had just been killed. He politely asked me to come ressurect him. I was sitting in my house at the time, so I crafted my very first resurrection kit, and hurried out to his waypoint. After Resurrecting him he tipped me 10k, which i gladly accepted. He had several guild mates near by, and everyone was friendly. I was happy to help him. However, later ontonight I encountered this situation for the second time. This time( a different jedi), I was in the middle of a guild activity, and did not have my equipment with me. I hurried to his waypoint as fast as I could. Unfortunately, by the time I crafted a new resurrection kit, and arrived at the scene, I was too late. I was then harrassed and insulted by the jedi, and blamed for his loss of 200xp. In the process of flaming me, the jedi said he would have paid me 1M credits. Was he talking smack, or should i be charging that kind of money?
My question to any doctors reading this is, does this happen all the time? (Not the flaming, but the emergency resurrection requests) If so, how much should I charge for this service? 1M credits is more than most people have, but I can understand that the alternative, losing 200k xp, is much much worse. The resurrection kits are not very hard to craft, so the real thing I would charge for is the ride out to the accident. If I charged 250k-500k, would this be fair? What do you other doc's charge?

Just out of interest, what was the jedi's name?
I've met one or two on Bria like that, thankfully a lot of them are very cool and I will help out if I can.
I've arrived too late to rez a couple of times and felt pretty bad that they lost the xp, but that's the risk of jedi

WOW, This turned out to be a hot topic with u guys! Im glad i put it up
Anyways, no, I will not put the mean jedi's name. That would be wrong. I will say that it happened near Dantooine's Mining outpost on Bria. I am basically always there, in Iron Fist City. I did put him in my ignore list, and notified a BH friend. Since then I am also keeping an eye out for jedi using their powers near any city.

Oh ya,
I have also recieved a few more requests since then. Basing it on what it is worth it to me to help out, I would say 50k is a reasonable price. But if i set my price, I will never get a big 1M tip either. One even bought a buff from me for an extra 15k.

If you don't want to rez somebody just have your roleplaying tag up then tell the person there's no way you would have IC information to go do it. The very idea of IC/OOC crossover totally baffles most people in the game, sadly a lot of "roleplayers," too.
Most likely you'll never get a tell from them asking again.

Actually I just had an idea along the RP line. When they send a tell for a rez.
Uber1337WannaBe: "Hey, can I get a rez?"
Me: "Do you have an appointment?"
Me: "Who is your Health Care Provider?"
Me: "If you're under 18, I need a parental consent form"
Me: "I can be there after I finish up the back 9, I wouldn't want to lose my green fees"
Conversation over.
