Funny how the people constantly accusingsomeone else of price-gouging are usually the "But I don't buff the public anymore" variety. Maybe it's because they have been too far removed for too long from the reality of the cost in time & effort that goes into what others do.
Perhapsif these people started doing public service themselves, they might understand what a free market economy entails. I'd like to see how long he'lllast sitting in the starportal undercutting everyone for 5k day after day. If he ever does. Few of the like-minded people ever put their time and effort where their mouths are.
I for one, will happily pack my droid up and go make a coupla million creditssmashing BBQ pits on Dant instead of providing the service. But then again, but "I don't buff the public anymore". LOL.

hi i'm one of the GOUGING doctors. lol
i've just read though the posts that you have all put up and am happy to see that most people understand. With a buff ANY combat proffession (even if you don't do janta's) can make 500k-1.2 mill in that buff. and thats just the mission pay outs without any of the loot that gets dropped. i've also seen the price of janta blood, avian meat, herb meat and the other stuff thats collected as you do the missions going up. now 25k maybe a bit high but wot i don't expect is if another doc shows you to start spaming "DON'T GET GOUGED WHY PAY 10K MORE FOR THE SAME" if people want buffs from me then they pay MY price or go find another doc. now as this all happened just after sever reset(which i make sure i get on for) i don't think that 25k is to much. now i must say that most people who came up to me and said you must be kidding. when i explain just how much they can make off the buff (even doing hurrton) they saw that it wasn't gouging and although the price was high they took them. i also say to people that if they want a buff i'll take janta blood in part ex for it. the last thing i would point out is that i'm EXPECTED to heal wounds and poision and things for FREE. some people tip but not many. where do i get the money to make the wound packs. as they need nearly all the same resouces as buffs.
at the end of the day this is a free market and i charge wot my time and effort are worth. if it's just after reset then thats 25k, later and it maybe lower.

Give me half an hour im gonna come on and so undercut them theyll have no customers. I was charging 6k for my buffs as im trying to get the med xp,

Hmm... I really don't understand this idea that EVERYONE who gets buffs runs off and does Janta missions on Dantooine and earns many millions of credits. I don't. I'm a Doctor-in-Training/Teras Kasi-in-Training and my bank balance stands at around 150k credits. I can't get Janta missions, and even if I was in a solo group with buffs and Black Mountain armour with 1000 Damage VK's I probably wouldn't be able to do them. Not everyone has that sort of earning power, people, only those at the top of the food chain. I think 25k for a Buff is reasonable, but unless I was desperate for a Buff quickly I probably wouldn't pay it.

And so starts up the next level ofXP grind that will further damage the economy hurt during the Hologrinding.

What if Weaponsmith started to charge by how much money you can make from their services (in this case there weapons), things would go out of controll....
