I have never paid attention to this. Really, should I? I go for the xps and keep everyones health bar topped off. Except for Rancors...I keep me topped off!!
Can anyone answer my question?

As far as I know, no there isn't any form of meter or indicator to how much aggro you have towards the enemies. Only thing you can measure it by is who they attack.
Great, great, great post! This may help me keep my pretty little doc alive! I do a lot of 2 person fighting and my doctor is my greatest friend. Since making it to doctor our chances of surviving in the wild has increased 10 fold! This should help 10 fold more!
Go doctors! My hats off to you all!
Thank you so much for this post, this sheds alot of light on some confusion that I have had.
While in a group, I usually Heal and draw aggro. When I do, I tap escape and back off. One of my friends usually takes the target and gets it off of me. Now they will not have to do it as often ![]()
This doesn't happen all the time, so I suspect it's something one of us is doing, but I'm not sure who or what it could be. Any thoughts?

This is a great post that's helped me quite a bit, but I still am not sure what's happening when we're hunting -- dunno if it's me or someone in the group. We kill the first spawn, then some of the ranged damage dealers tap the lair and creatures start to spawn. The group attacks the first creature; meanwhile, others are spawning. As soon as I heal someone in the group, though, nearly the entire spawn attacks me and goes aggro for everyone else after I'm out. Even if I wait to heal someone until they really need it (maybe around 25% health), the effect is still there.

Sounds strange. What could be happening is that the animals have already aggro:ed the player you are healing but have no threat value from him. If you heal him then you will instantly get a higher threat thus be a target of everything that has aggroed the other player, when you are dead they will immediately start pounding on anything that healed you or the player that you healed first. This is most likely the case if you are attackign pikets or other animals that gank.
I have also heard of (and experienced) situations where bacta spray can cause aggro creatures to attack you even though you are outside their aggro range.

Hmm, we're mostly seeing this with banthas and dewbacks on Tatooine. I only use bacta shot & jab, no spray for me.
I suspect that, despite their protestations to the contrary, they're hitting the lair even after the first creature has spawned, which might lead to the scenario you describe. There were a couple of newer players in the group, so that might be it (despite the fact that they swear they stopped shooting the lair).
I'll see if I still have chat logs from the hunt; if not, I'll try to reproduce and see if that's what's really going on.
