Thread: anyone have news on the buff nerf?
A 400 power stim B for a novice medic isn't that much. Trust me. I've got a master doc on one server and a novice medic on another. On a death planet that 400 -700 pts of HAM (because I've only gota +5 treatment mod) is a drop in the bucket. They may reduce the need for dedicated healers for the starter planets but not the death ones. I've been combat since day 1 and added master doc to my combat template. TRUST ME. A dedicated healer is always desired.
Even with a good set of doc buffs you can still get into trouble. If you are buffed and if you ever get to the point that you actually need a stim B you are dead because it won't heal up enough HAM to spit at.

i believe the quote is
"Lastly is the follow up to many of the preliminary changes that have been made so far. This includes balancing armor, buffs and DoTs, bringing them in line with the combat balance overall."

yeah that's it. Thanks.
Yeah. I agree the composite in and of itself is very balanced. There was a thread on the AS forums awhile back and the smiths were saying "composite needs to be rebalanced. It's too powerful". Composite is not the problem. Composite and buffs are the problem. The high protections of composite come with a high price because if you aren't buffed all you can do is fire regular shots. Besides when is the last time you put on your uber 80% kinetic 37% stun composite without a full set of doc buffs?
That would be never.
