Thread: why you dont buff overt...EVER!!

I know the feeling, I also got killed/DB in a cantina after buffing an overt. I was inside the cantina, healing entertainers and he came it, hit me with mind fire, took about 10 seconds I was dead and he gave me the deathblow.
Ok, I understand that PvP players like to hunt down overts to challenge them, but to attack a doctor, without armor in a cantina, had absolutely no purpose. Yes, it did tech me a valuable lesson but still, I found that completely uncalled for.

Such is life. If you going to buff an overt, you need to be prepared to defend yourself. Buff yourself first, or go someplace really, really out of the way to do it.

I would have refunded his credits minus a handling charge, put him and his guild on no-buff list , put him on ignore, and forget about him.
I always buff overts. It's my duty as an Imperial to help our troops anyway I can.And cloning isthe price that sometimes must be paid.

Real simple. Tell a BH to hunt this guy down and refund the money minus your cost times 2.
Then make sure that everyone in the immediate area knows the who the character is, and take a picture to post on the boards. Then there will be no mistake from the idiot again.

to reply to original post: I think these char's that go around attacking not only overts but random tef's(tef's should be eliminated for non PvP)are taking the galactic civil war as far as it will go. thus, after cloning go back to buffing, put offending jedi on ignore and every so often send him tells stating that you didnt get his tip/he needs to tip more for decay/whatever, keep him there while you line you pockets or piss him off. no buff/keep the credits=>>spoils of waR
