So i clone and go run back to start buffing again. All my customers are telling this jedi that he is a azz for killing the only doc buffing. So i am like my fault for not noticing a overt. I then look in my email at my bank tips (the order in which i buff) and there he is, the jedi who killed me!!!!! Now wants me to buff him!!!

I ended up doing it, because he did pay..would it have been wrong to keep the money and /emote waves middle finger at you to him? Although it would have felt good!!!

You only got what you deserved, I would have kept the money and put the jedi on ignore.

You play a game for fun man, not what is moraly good all the times, I believe you're a good Doc, making this exception wouldn't have hurt and you would have felt much better......

If I were you, I would have just ignored him, maybe tipped him 10k and kept the rest for myself.

It's not really fair to kill doctors since we are there to help. No matter the faction.

Hehe, okay, I am a doctor myself but still I wouldnt kill a simple doctor, unarmed and doing his/her

best toprepare people forhunting etc... It is just not fair

You do understand that a droid will not get destroyed. Once your able to peace then you can store it and pull it out after a while and it will be held. Rather like a pet.

It will eventually loose some life but you can have it repaired.

I have a droid that has been killed well over 100 times and it still keeps on ticking. Even when killed you get still get items out of it. I just will not work as far as being a med droid (cant buff, heal wounds, etc).

All this being said... when my droid dies.. others soon follow.

You should have tipped him back his money (Minus of course insurance costs to cover your items after he killed you.) I've had this happen to me several times on Bloodfin. Azzhatz that kill you and then expect you to buff them.

Since I am, by nature, a mean son of a gun with a really bad attitude, this is what I did:

  • If the clown is a Jedi, take his money, tell him you are recharging your droid and making a buffpack (jantaa blood high power of course, they eat that up) and they have to wait a second. Contact a guild BH or a BH you know (Make friends with a bh. It is well worth it) who can take the Jedi's mission. Watch the Jedi die

  • If the clown is a normal combat class, say in spatial so everyone can hear (It works great if you were the only one buffing in the locale) That due to decay of your equipment and the loss of (make something up, buff pack, food, ect) you have to raise the price of your buffs. Also, you can't take bivoli or halva due to having a full stomach from a trip to the cloners due to (Then point out the idiot that killed you)

  • Tell the punk that killed you that the cost of his buff is tripled due to the cloner trip

  • Make sure you have a bunch of cash (Non-bank) and tip him back. If you use a bank tip, you lose money (5% fee)

Just remember never EVER to buff that person again.

Plus, the hate tells rule.

Had a similar experience, had a huge line buffing outside the starport in Coronet and got TEF'd. The guy I buffed didn't show up as overt, we figured out later he was bugged. Shortly after buffing him, a dark Jedi starts in with me. Of course, I'm not buffed, not wearing armor, not equipped with a weapon. Those in my line are asking the jedi to back off since I'm the only doctor working in Coronet at the time. Of course, he doesn't, he db's me and spams some adolescent remark about "owning" me. I clone, get back to my buff line to discover a little gank squard's been formed to hunt down this jedi for his killing me.

If this joker had gotten into my line ever, I'd refuse to buff him. In fact, his entire guild is on my "not getting a buff from me ever no matter how much you beg, plead or tip" list.

It's been my practice for a long time to buff overt rebels, I have no problem doing so and often, the overt player will stick around until the TEF wears off. When I do buff overts, I make sure I'm buffed and armor and weapons are just a hotkey away.

I have in my shout that I will not buff overt, but if someone sends me a tell and warns me that they are overt, I'll usually still buff them. I just don't like getting a tef when I am not expecting it. Often times if I'm buffing an overt I'll buff myself first, just in case. Also I check my radar and map before buffing them, to make sure there isn't someone unexpected around. But usually if someone is overt and wants a buff I buff them, ask for an invite to the group and go run after them and try to keep them alive, give them a rez when they get killed and get myself killed and laugh the whole while at how horrible I am at pvp. It's fun!

I was killeda while ago and I think i havd a nice approch to it I sent the person a tell and said that i saw what she did to that dirty rebel and if she came back to the star port I would buff her for free.

unknow to her was the fact that i was grouped with another rebel doc who had resed me there for my teff was still there

and offered free buffs to all rebels in the area all i asked was that i get to db her

this gets better only for the fact that she targeted me and consented me to res her

i got to db her 7 time before she cloned and all it cost me was about 10 sets of buffs and a few res kits

I'll buff an overt if I'm buffed first. Im' cool with getting attacked even when buffing, if it's red it's dead, it's a pain is all.

I was buffing myself in Tyrena recently and was standing next to an unbuffed reb jedi, since I don't like to waste bivoli and being a nice doc I offered him a buff. Halfway through he's shouting "hurry hurry". I'm engrossed in my med toolbar and thinking that these jedi are pretty rude, telling me to hurry up , when he takes the shuttle after I only buffed 3 stats.

Then I realise that a dark jedi enforcer is staring in disbelief at me so I /smile back.

He was pretty cool and waited for me to store my droid before my doc/rifle template did absolutely no good whatsoever and he sent me to the cloner.

All good fun despite dying
