I just purchased a 2-1B medical droid with a crafting station and 110% medical rating, I can heal some people about 4-5 times, then I am told I have to be in a hospital or near a medical droid to do this action. Is this bugged or something that is normal?

Thanks for any info to a new medic.

Pull a battery out of the crate and put it in your inventory.

From the radial menu on the droid, select "Recharge", it will do it automatically with a battery in your inventory.

I am looking to buy the best Medical Droid I can find. If you are a DE or know of a reputable sellor, please let me know. Thanks, K

Post this in your server trade fourms.

Is anyone else having trouble with their medical droids? Mine has the ability to allow me to heal where ever I am but as of the last patch I don't seem to be able to do this. Nor is my mount listening to any command I give him. Are these bugs?

Have you tried recharging your droid with batteries. I have put a new battery in every 1/2 hour or so or I cant heal.

I bought a power droid from a DE, but haven't used it yet. Hopefully, this will end my days of going through a crate of batteries in a week...

You can only call one droid at a time. So if you have your power droid out you can't have your med droid out at the same time to recharge it.

Yeah, you're right. /bonkself

I forgot to mention that I gave my power droid to my alt, so she can call that one while I recharge all of mine (I have the maximum 5 - one is my surgical droid, the others are smuggling compartments for my spice and stuff)...

If you have a number of friends (being more social than myself, I like to solo), you can work the same thing. Just call out your power droid for them and vice-versa. Whether this is more or less of a pain in the @zz is up to you...

I purchased an R2 with Medic Skill 110, person crafting station and storage. For some reason, it wont let me heal people, does the chassis HAVE to be a medical droid chasis to heal outside a med center?

No, I have an R3 with the same (and harvesting, which I don't use) and it works fine. It starts losing functions when it runs out of battery power, though ... it still allows crafting and accessing storage, but no harvesting or grouping ... or wound healing, I think.
