You have obviously not been to the trade forum. I recently observed a stack of avian meat sell on the trade forum for a final price of 1105 cpu. Everything's fair as long as you have the money to do it.

holy f*** christ docs on chilastra grumble when avian meat rpices go over 200 and this auction on tempest when for 1125!!!!!!!

Hey you know, the crafting docs make.....decent amount of money (won't say huge as it may not be too accurate 
). So if they can bid that kinda money they obviously must be making that kinda money. Which means the buffing docs must be paying them kinda money, which thus leads to the fact that the end players must be paying the buffing docs that kinda money.

yep. sometimes thats a good thing cos the people with the power get the money and rangers & scouts. hold part of that power but any doc could go novice scout n harvist some meat but they will never be able to get enough of the good stuff in the spawn shift time.

lol its just a simple matter of Docs fixin prices. when the price of buffs rise the price of meat will rise, personly if you docs charge 15k a buff then moan about 200cpu for avian then there must be some major penny pitcher doctors.

nunas are the ONLY source.
which is why every Master Ranger knows to laugh heartily when a doctor asks for 100k of the good Tat. avian meat.

I'll only accept an order of tat avian if the price is 200 cpu. 100cpu for gathering and the other 100 cpu for the doctor bill after losing my mind hunting the stuff.

Well you can do the Jabba themepark and in one of the missions you get to kill a kaadu, so you can loot 20+ meat one time on tatooine 
Tat avian meat is the hardest grind in the game, I think anyone should be able to open the FS slot by collecting 50K of it
