Thread: A way to stop the tumblers!
and make the med center (or equivelent Player hospital) the only place to have 100 med rating.. get rid of 110 droids.. make them max of 75.
thats all i ask.. then people have to come to the med center to get the best buff'd and to get healed properly.
Give Drs a reason to be in the med center and tumblers a reason not to be.

The problems Doctors are having with AFK tumblers??? Which are what, again? That they work my nerve? That they stick in my craw? What, other than that, are they doing to make this game more or less fun for me?
This is a game. It's supposed to be fun. And it's not just supposed to be fun for you, it's supposed to be fun for me too. Mastering a profession is not the goal of the game. PLAYING is the goal of the game. Your grand fascist vision for how the game should be work is not shared by the developers, because no one wants to pay $15 a month to have a second job.
They alienate your customers, detract from your enjoyment, work your nerves, stick in your craw, flood the market with doctors, pick one.
They don't Detract from my enjoyment, or alienate customers, they certainly don't effect nerves or craw and don't flood the market with doctors??? so whats your point?
perhaps you should try mastering rifleman just killing durnies then you make see how effective lvling doc is without Tumblers and macro's!! its about the same exp again ![]()
and the 2nd paragraph

means without that facists remark, that without tumblers and macro's doc would take to long it would be like a "2nd Job" and the devs agree with tumblers and macro's...

Eh? The first part I understand...about the rifleman by killing durni...but maybe you didn't take a look at my signature. I am a Master Doctor, and in the past I have been a Master Rifleman. I know what the xp gain is for both, and I no more used an AFK tumbler than I killed Durni to level Rifleman--instead I went out on hunts, healed in cantinas, and waited in the Med Centers for someone to come in. I know quite a bit about the long path to mastering professions.
The second part of your reply about the "facists remark" made no sense to me. Perhaps you could try rephrasing it of me? I think what it meant to say was that the Devs agree with the AFK macroing.... I know this is untrue, but if you would like the post stating it, check here. JustG says: "...we really want to stop the hologrind. We feel that AFK macroers are not healthy for the game. We want it to stop as soon as we can. And yes, we are aware that we are the ones that put the system in place. This was not what we intended, but things have evolved to this point."
But this will not stop tumblers. There are very many tumblers actually helping out a guild mate or RL friend and are sitting by the keyboard.
I was helping my brother grind through Medic and Doctor today by tumling and doing tricks with my pet
Most doctors don't even wear their tag because they are bombarded with constant tells for buffs. Many of us could do with a bit more customer alienation.
The market is hardly flooded with doctors. Anyone who wants to buff for money can have all the work they want, at prices most people whine are "inflated".
This is a nonissue.
