He he he usually with line cuts I just ask the others if they are willing to let the guy go before them then charge him 20K forthe buff and line jump. Doesn't happen very often, only been asked two, three times.

Lately, not alot of docs are available to buff in Dathomir ... So one day I decided to be "nice", I'll pull out my bot and start buffing for 12k.People find out there is a doc available and my line is now 50 people deep. I have people going nuts, cussing, complaining, dueling etc.

One guy steps up next to me and says for 50k will you buff me? I told him to get to the end of the line and sure ... I'll buff you for 50k. He gets mad and starts complaining, said he had to go andorderedme tobuff him "NOW". I then had to say "Listen, I got 50 people in front of youand don't have enough credits tojump to the front of the line. I came here to do missions just like you people, if youcan't wait to be buffed, like the other 50 "PATIENT" people in line .. then by all means board the shuttle to Coronet. I don't need your business." I had people thanking me, cheering, telling this guy to get to the end of the line, etc. I know when I'm in line .. I don't like people hopping in front of me, either.

Needless to say ... he went to the end of the line and 45 min to an hour later it was his turn. I said "50k please." He starts ranting and raving, moaning and cussing. The two guys that were behind him, said "Pay the lady her 50k ... that's what you offered when you asked to be buffed .. you didn't say at that point in time you wanted to jump to the front of the line. Your exact words were 'for 50k will you buff me?'." He tipped me before I could tell him to take the shuttle to Coronet. Not for 50k but for 70k .. because the two guys behind him were rightso he paid for their buffs and apologized for being an a**.

I don't allow "Buffee's" to cut the line, they can complain all they want. The only people that I let line cut .. are people who need wound heals and cures, which is pretty rare. I tell them to wait until I'm finished buffing the person I'm buffing AND then get the personbehind him/her, permission to heal or cure. They always do.

Only once did someone ask to cut my line. I was charging 10k ( I was in a good mood) on Dathomir, this dude comes up says I'll pay you 20k if you buff me next. I said sure, buffed him next, tooks his creds and wished him well.

I didn't tell him that he was next anyway, somethings about his tone rubbed me the wrong way

HAHA I did get asked by someone tonight if he could cut the line. He offered me 15k when i was charging 10k for buffs and there were 5 people ahead of him. I told him Sure, if you pay for everyone ahead of you.... He said "they can kiss my a$$ LOL,....thanx anayway and take care". So he didnt take the option but he was cool about it. That will be my take on it from now on...

I'm dead set against line cuts. No matter the money. I figure if you can't wait 15 minutes (the time it takes to buff 5 people, at a slow rate), then you shouldn't be playing an MMORPG. I like the idea of telling someone asking for a VIP to pay for everyone in front of them, but I did one the other night that was hysterical.

I got sick of the VIP requests, so I yelled out VIP BUFFS only 15K! Form a line to my right, and I'll VIP you for CHEAP! Less than a minute later, half of the line was racing to my right.......until they realized what I'd done.

I just tell people that if they want a VIP, I'll do it, but they have to personally /tell everyone in front of them that they're cutting them for cash, and they'll have to wait longer. Most decline the offer.

I don't see anything wrong with them, I have brought people to the front of the line on MANY occasions, and do it ALL the time for free for guild members. I'm not a Doctor to wait on other people hand and foot, in it to make credits so that I can play the game comfortably without always having to worry about being broke. Of course, I'm also the kind of person that uses Havla anytime the line is more than 4 deep, so most doctors wouldn't like me I'm sure (as most would rather make their customers wait in line for 30 mins than cut their profit by about 700 credits (I've done the math figuring average cost of the Havla that I buy).

I personaly think thats its a good way to make some more money.yes people are gonna wait longer but if you have the best buffs around there not gonan wanna go to someone else. I let guild memeber cut in-line if someone gets mad i dont buff them,if they have tipped me already, i tip it all back and tell them to go somewhere else...Yes i know its theanus(you knwo wha ti mean by anus)way but there my guild members....I've let people jump in line if they give me more money, monmey pretty much runs they game,if you buy buff packs(like i do) there nuttin worng with jumpin, even if you dotn uy yr own and make yr own its still ok to do, to me...........trust me if you have the best buffs around they will stop yellin at ya if you say no buffs for you if you keep on talkin....this is my personal opinion.

My two cents...

The few times I sit in coro buffing, I simply ignore requests for line cuts. I personally think it is rude to the other customers in line.I have noticed that people will do pretty much anythinga doctorasks when in a buff line, like little crack addicts lining up for their fix. Doesn't make it ethical to take advantage just because you can, imo.

What if someone jumped in front of the express line at the grocery and demanded the clerk letthem cut because they had $100??

I think doctors should set a fair price for buffing and advertise that price.Demanding 25K,50Kor more for a buff seems absolutely insane to me.

Wow, an old thread renewed! Twitchie you're digging brother! lol.

However I for one am not against VIP service, but usually only when another doc is buffing in the area also.

In r/l it is done all the time by most businesses. (i.e. First class airline ticket holders who board first, VIP rental car customers who move straight to their car, etc). If it is clearly advertised, everyone has the option to not partake, but I'm under the impression that in today's business of VIP offers, ppl are used to it. With the exception of the new player, most players who can afford it have the option to pay their own VIP rate or not...
