If you have any carbines speed... check out the Post CU Nym's Carbine reward... did the quest on my alt for the first time the other day and had 177 acid elemental. Also.. on your jawa, give it a shot on droids... using a jawa ion rifle rather than a pistol and seemed to be doing even more damage overalldespite my lack of rifle skill.Also have heard a rumor that the stats on it depend on yor nym faction as the reward is random stats... but is a rumor.Message Edited by Knightcrest on 06-09-2005 05:43 PM
So once again I've been F*cked for doing a quest early? I swear, it's obscene the level of reaming I've taken on quests...

BUt you can do the quest for Nym's Slug Thrower multiple times, at least pre-CU. I give it a shot later.

I can't believe it nothing but improvements and no nerf's(for doctors at least). Has there been an alien invasion at SOE?
The thing that makes me so happy about this next publish is these are actually issues we have had on the plate for a while. It's also very nice to see they listened to what we had to say at Fan Fest. Most of the issues that were discussed there are infact getting fixed.
Not sure how I feel about the hate system changes though. The problem was never with the Agro....not exactly anyways....the problem was always with a group being agroed by multiple targets, but only attacking one. The Doc heals and now he has every creature attacking him that hasn't been hit by another person. Even if they reduce the agro by 50% we are still going to have the same problems when it comes to multiple enemies....Sure it will save our @$$es from one guy, but not 2+.
