I just hope Marrow is still going to work on thiseventhough that med crafting isn'ta doctree anymore. From my lurking on the BE forum it seems thatthe BE's hate us anyway... who can blame them, they didn't ask for this too. But they probably won'tlift a finger. So it's up to us docs to demand a drastic change in those horrible requirements.

SOE said that we doctors won't be craftin as much after the combat upgrade, they are right because we doctors will be looking for resources and harvesting them! What could be worse than harvesting 5-8 diffferent resoucres form creatures

Congrats for posting a really nice list for us



I took the liberty of posting a thread on the BE forum (with kudo's to Czar'rok), so hopefully the BE's will reply and update the requirements as they change.


It looks like typical BE crafted products, with huge creature resource requirements, though 50 units is new high for BE.



The fish is the real hard part to get, and BE's have been screaming to get fish for their own pet stims so I wouldn't think to see much of that type of med around. Fishing isn't hard, it's just very, very slow with tiny yield. Crustacean/mollusk should go faster though.


With the exceptions of the stims, which I will assume will work as pre-cu stims did, does anyone know how effective the enhancers will be? They said we'd be allowed to do a 20% buff and if we do that without the enhancer, then we're maxed...so I'm not sure I can see the point.

Wow!


I used to really like med crafting and seeing what kind of item I could get from mediocre and crapy resources. Even started 2 alts to harvest for her and support her med crafting. Guess I get to add fisher and milkmaid to my list of skills and just cancel 2 accounts. Oh wait, docs don't craft now. Make that cancel all 3 accounts.



Typical SOE stupidity. They have no idea how to balance it so they just nerf everyone. Thanks SOE. This makes the second time I've quit playing (and paying) for one of your products. Never again.

Docs already use dylinium (enhance poison Cs).


Combat medics already use eleton and tolium in their subs, so this isn't new either.


But yeah, overall, these resource requirements stink.

LOL, I may have gave up but that statement is as funny as soe saying our customer feedback is positive.



So now the list of stuff needed is growing. and please remember that the resources will prob change by live, not becouse they are being nice but to kill those that go out and get them now for when it does goes live. they did that with jtl if i remember right.


avian meat cost a ton to get. but milk, eggs are by far the worse things in the game to get, i am a master be and stuff made with eggs and milk, i was happy to have 2k of milk, and that would take me all day to get. good luck getting people to harvest that. and if i had 3k of eggs i was in heaven. so you can see how those two things can just kill the fun. avian you at least got to kill something.


To be honest i made very little stuff with eggs and milk becouse of the bordom of getting them (it really is a nightmare ) with the magic healing only a few will craft it. and it will not sell for near whats its worth as far work involved.


So,


made resouceces really hard to get.


crafting in mass will be out the door for anything that needs milk and eggs.


they are not needed meds so the worth of the items will not match the hassle.


now BE's will be fighting will doc's and chef's for eggs and milk.


as both a be and a doc. i dont like that they crossed over the resources so now that two prof's i liked nerfed to no end.


soe is right i think now...

Well... On the bright side... At least we now have something to do with all those resource kits we all bought.

So much for doc and crafting. Like so many others I feel ripped off and ganked for my efforts with doc and ranger over the past year.


I step closer to cancell button for 5 alts.

correct me if im wrng but arent the first section of products on that list merly devices that improve the current skill, and so each person will only need 1, which should cut down on the amount of res needed, only comsumables are the stims?
