back from more field testing with the infernal machine, here is some more info for ya:
no, it will not heal you when you are incaped.
you have to be grouped with the owner of the droid if you want it to heal you.
and in my experince, if your not fighting corrilian butterflys, this thing is not for you. it heals slower than you get dammaged.
it is still beyond my capacity to understand why someone who can make Cs would want to even spend time and credits loading one of these toaster-ovens up.
after another day of testing this paper-weight, I deleted it from my data pad. I hope someone finds at least one good quality about this thing.
good luck.
my opionon on this droid mod would flip 100% if we could use Bs.

I could see it as a post-battle healer, but really, if you need the knowledge to make a stim-C to load the thing, would you really need it to heal you after battle?
could a new player really afford to buy one of these things, and stock it?
/shrug
the more I think about it, the less cool this droid sounds. I'd love to hear from someone who has had a positive experince with this droid mod.

I wasn't thinking of this droid in terms of keeping you healed through a fight. I was thinking of this droid (which is the only way a droid dispensing Stim A's would be useful) as a droid that would get you up if you were incapped. Using a stim A while incapped would at least get you back up and give you the opportunity to heal yourself, or another member of your group before you or they get DB'd. I could also come in handy to at the very least prevent you from getting incapped if it comes down to that whoever gets the last shot in scenario. So we are looking at some basic fundamental flaws, that some suggestions could get fixed.
1. Have the droid be able to be loaded with Stim's relative to the medic's Medicine use levels, or maybe on step below (a non medic could only use Stim A's, Novice Medic, Stim B's and so on).
2. Have the droid be able to heal a person who gets incapped (if this is the case then even Stim A's would be handy).
3. Make it so the droid does not have to be targeted in order to request a Stim.
Those seem to be the major issues with them.
Who these droids are good for as is: Entertainers/Dancers/Musicians would need only to have a Medic with Pharm IV to load the little buggers then they could pull one out in the cantina, and everyone in the entertainer group could request stims to keep themselves playing/dancing. This makes for money for the Medics in terms of selling crates of Stim A's, and loading the droids for the Entertainers using them.
I guess we need to find out who these droids were really intended for.

those are some good thoughts Brain.
I'd love to see docs load this thing with B's (honestly, I dont think it would need anything more than a b)
and an incap heal would definitly make this thing valuable. and, of course having it be easy to use would be vital in battle, we all know less is more when it comes to commands in a fight.
I like your idea of entertainers using it to cure the band members, but would you think As have the power to keep up with a large band group?
I suppose I am a bit bias, I was looking forward to something for a long time, and got something completly diffrent.

this bot is aimed at low level medics and *gasp* NON-MEDICS!!! It IS HELPFUL no matter how much you spoled Stim D slapping people think!!! your all docs of course to you a stim A is sissy stuff and useless, but your not the customer!!!!! This was not a present for us!!

So when you incapped by the durni.... could you target the droid and have it heal you, and "unincapping" you? That would be nice is you get incapped and don't want to wait, or if whole group starts getting incapped, they can start reviving themselves instead of waiting for you.
Also seems nice if you don't wish to spend the 15 skill points to get novice medicm but still want some healing out in the field..... this isn't a slap in the face to medics as someone said, since requires a medic to fill it, plus the power of the healing is so low.

Whip up a few crates of your best stim A's. Buy some cheap droids with a med module installed. Fill em up and see if you can sell em. Im gonna try this with a droidsmith friend of mine. Ill let you know how it works out.
