We noticed that last night too, no doc in coronet for at least 2 hours. We stopped and did a few buffs while we waited for the shuttle. When it showed up, we left, and I'm sure at least a few people were pissed.
Here's my question though. How fxcking stupid do you have to be to stand in line an hour for buffs? Buy a freaking ticket to Theed or Dant and even if you had to wait the entire shuttle reset both times, you'd be gone 25mins max. End of story.

lol i like the idea of naming your droid "MasterDcBuffingNearTheCantina" thats pure class, i like an idiot named mine "har-too-dee-too", im learning a lot from these forums off you guys, im a pretty new Doc, but it is fun saying NO!!! to buffing the pricks in Lagonet, spamcity corolag whatever u wanna call it. I feel good seeing u all say no when u dont feel like buffing either. They need us more than we need them, DOCTORS RULE

Hmmm..
I recently finished a factory run to buff our citizens with - 6 crates of 50 with 14 uses, one for each stat.. This will allow me to buff 700 sets, I used normal components and some fairlynice resources and the buffs hit for about 1800 per stat lasting about two and a half hours, not too sure without checking.. I know I can get higher but I'm a relatively new Master Doc (10pt not 12) and really only offer my services to our city. I could probably invest in a slightly better droid too.
My question is this.. If I set up in Coronet do you think people would pay for those buffs..?
I am thinking that there could be a market for people wanting cheaper, lower quality buffs.. They don't have to stand in a line 50+ long, ifat anypoint during the buff they wanted to buff higher it should be easy enough for a doc using better quality packs to overwrite my lower quality buffand the ones I supply would be say 50% of the going rate.. That would mean they would pay around 4,000c-5,000c on Radiant I think as opposed to 8,000c-10,000c, opening up buffs to the little people on the server and not just the fully composited up Uber hunters.
Just curious..

In that situation, I'd shout out that all buffs would be 1500+ for 50k a set. See how fast that line evaporated. It'd be like cockroaches when the light came on.
But the die-hards might not be phased and you'd make a tidy sum for those that do stay in line

Folks confuse "useful" with "needed". I've always said that any buff is a good buff and many folks don't believe it. There are lots of ways besides doctor buffs to get those 200 points or so, you don't have to pay a fortune, and you don't have to wait in line.
With a measly 200 point health buff, and some stim-b's, I can last much longer against anything. If I have mind stims and bluemilk, I can stand even longer. (I got master fencer before those things, and I tell you, it was tough!) Example: I can take out four fambaas, solo, one at a time, while wearing a chiton helmet, chestplate, and leggings, with only a 200 point health buff.
And that all sounds MUCH MORE FUN than waiting in line and getting NO XP and NO MONEY.

I am working through medic now, getting ready to go into the doctor world, but dreading it as well. I would love to see a beginner doctor buffing for 1500 and 2 hrs. I have paid for those before, and will do so again. That is still more than I need. I do know that when I make it, I won't wear it around dantooine, dathmor or coronet.

hehe .... on rare occasion i buff in corolag ... all of my droids except my harvest one are med droids but the one i use in corolag is a BLL named DrRoboto ^_^ .... corny i know but he's bright red, obnoxious and gets people's attention ....
Only thing is i refuse to spam and don't need to ... during peak hours I just can't understand why ANY doctor would ever need to spam there .... but they do ...
