I say heal wounds and heal tumblers untill you can buff. Once you can buff do this:
Use crappy buff packs on afk spammer and pets. Then rebuff them with better Buffs. If you can rebuff them with better buffs then you still get 1/2 times the xp of the full buff. If you have three sets of buff ranging from Weak, medium and great, then you can get master doc (healing wise) very very fast.

OK, here it is. Use the Macros, but don't go AFK. You need to be there for the crafting.
Get a friend (Brawler). Take a mission on a NPC base. After killing all the NPC's, have your Brawler friend Warcry the base. This will take from his Health and Action bars with no damage to the base. Run a macro to heal his wounds with stims. In adition to his warcry macro, your healing macro, run a crafting macro and get to crafting.
If you can get another Doc to take Novice Brawler for you, he/she can train you and it will go much faster.
Fastest way yet.... yes in a few hours.

A really good friend of mine left his toon on ALL night for me to afk heal him to get my xp. I mastered doc in 2 days (a day of healing xp then the other day was for the crafting

Look on the BE forums for a hell of a macro that will get you through very quickly. It takes the time down to half or better and is easy for me to figure out. And I'm a bit lame in learning new things like that. It got me through BE crafting, which is a pain, and it got me through Doc crafting, which is even harder. This macro will probably get me through chef grind if I decide on that as well. Good luck and give it a try!
