Just sold my last crate of 405 base 35 charge stim B for 1995cr a piece = 99750 for the crate.

All 3 advanced components and resources from across 3 complete resource wipes.

Wont be making any more for a while:

1) Factories still broken

2) Current resources sucks

3) Cant get enough herbivore meat

I charge roughly 5cr per resource used then tack on some extra for my other miscellaneous expenses/profit.... I don't run a huge operation, just make what I can and sell as I make them... My prices have ranged from 700 to 900 cr per unit and that's pretty much my comfort zone even for 3 x advanced stims... If I sell on the bazaar I add the 20cr bazaar listing fee to the price as well... I sell out all the time and have people /tell or email me for bulk orders which I can't keep up with (even before the factory bug)... I did a special order of stim-C's for an architect that turned out around 510 healing and 44 charges... traded two crates to them for a large moisture harv, was a good deal for me as far as what my costs were and good for them as well....

I think charging per resource is a bad way to go. You cannot add up a value of your time/effort/resources/credits and come up with a concrete value and say that is that. The customers determine what you should charge. If they want to pay 1700 for a stim, the nso be it. They think it is fair value for what they pay.

Ask yourself...am I having trouble selling these things? Answer is more than likely, no. Demand far outweighs supply.

So charge up to what you can get away with before you get locked in to a set price and decide to up your prices. This would tick current customers off alter if you do not set prices now. Everyone hates increases.

Just some food for thought JayCrow, but if you're making them and they sell out faster then you can make them, you are selling them too cheap. Raise the prices =)

I come from a different school of thought. I am notin the Pharmaceuticals businessto "get rich quick". Rather I want to provide a valuable service at a fair price with a reasonable profit margin.

If you are happy with your profit levels (as I am by using my pricing formula), then rather than increasing your prices, increase your production. People will tend to return to someone with a fair price and a steady supply of stock. This way you are increasing yournet gain and providing even more goods for a rampant demand. I find that customers feel more comfortable dealing with someone with a steady price rather than someone who is constantly tweaking their prices to maximize their profits.

Just my 2 credits worth.

I charge what I charge because that is what I feel is fair... To me everything in the game is worth the value of the underlying resources with an APPROPRIATE markup taken into consideration for the difficulty of the item.... I give a **edit** if I can get more money out of my product or that there is more demand than there is product... I'm not here to scalp people like every other crafter... My costs are fixed... bottom line, they will never go up... there's 0 reason to not fix my prices in a certain range...

So the question you should ask yourself, are you a greedy fecker like most crafters? or do you have the conscience and integrity to maintain a fair and balanced price for yourgoods... Personally, if my needs are being met and more at my pricing scheme then there is just no justification to raise prices... This is a game, it isn'ta "screw your neighbor" contest....

I was wondering how are people getting 50 stims in a crate? my factory could only hold enough components for like 30 stims..of course this is all moot because the factories don't work at all right now...

If you can get the factory to pull from crates (the factory tends to do this for me on the first set of crates out of 2 crates per ingredient) you don't have to unload. If you can't, just unload more ingredients into the input hopper each time the factory starts then turn it on again and it will pick up where it left off.

I wish factories were fixed I've been out of stim b's for several days now.

Ok.........soooooooooo no one wants to attempt to answer my question ?

I asked what everyone means by base heal...when you make a stim pack it says like 212 health/212 actoin, do you then read that as a 424 base heal or do you consider that 212?

Anyone, anyone, hello?

Base heal is whatever it says on the stimpack not what you actually heal for. What you actually heal for should usually be much higher than the base heal.

My 40/334 Stim B's sell for 1600-1900 apiece (even sold 5 on Dantooine bazaar for 2500 apiece).

So a crate would be 80-95k. Sounds like a lot but the demand is there. I tested my individuals on the bazaar and everyday, just kept raising the price until the sales slowed down. Presto, there is my new set price. You are all underestimating what your things are worth. They are only worth what people pay for them, so charge until you can't charge anymore. If Med Suppliers want to sell cheaper, like 800 credits, go right ahead. I can take those same stims and sell them for....ummmm1600 apiece. I don't dictate the price...the people do.
