Huddle and Bank tips with the occasional macro spam of '10k for 2500 all stats bank tip to get in line'
Beats line method by a long way.

Like most servers, we started out with the huddle, but when docs found oput that the 20+ sheets of paper they were using to keep track of names was a bit muchm we went to lines (didn't know about /note then).
These days, customers on our server just find it easier to line up and not have to worry about being forgotten or constantly wanting to know how many people are in front of them. It's kind of a customer based system on Starsider.

On Wanderhome most doctors use the Line method for buffing players. I see no complaints from players either from standing in a line waiting. When i started buffing, i stood next to my droid and shouted out my price and stats. Players just started lining up single file and tipped me when it was their turn. Occasionally I'll have a player be in line and suddenly run off to cure BF. When they come back they just get in back of the line again without complaining. They know they moved out of turn so they accept this fact of waiting again. I've had no complaints so far and every customer i've buffed has been friendly and came back to me.

What do you need paper for?! You mean you actually write down the people's names as they show up? If so, That is the funniest thing i have heard, no wonder you use the line method! LOL!Your making way more work for yourself thanyou have to.
Huddle method withBANK TIPS ONLY , the bank tips make a message in your mail bow, with the person that sent it's name, they also appear in the order they are recieved, there's your line, there's your paper (LOL, i still find the thought of this funny) .
Well I play on the Infinity Server, I use the huddle/bank tip only method and never get swamped, never get complaints, maybe it is because the server is not as crowded as most servers, or maybe because i have used it so long that i have it down to a science, Actually the two Doctors that i have seen try to use the Line method on Infinity got laughed at and complained to by everyone they buffed until they finally gave up on thier "Form a Line, Don't Tip till its your Turn" macro.
They must have been new doctors to Infinity from other shards, because I have played here for about 2 1/2 months and I have seenonly seen TWOlines , which turned into huddles after about 10-15 minutes.
So I guess it depends on the server you play, what the costumers prefer, and what works best for you.

I play on a line server for buffs. I tried a new character on a huddle server and found it easier as a customer but it pains me to bank tip anyone hehe. That 5% going into thin air get annoying. I actually ran up to a guy that had just started and was the only customer. In his spam he said bank tip only. I asked since I was the only one there if I could just tip him. It took a minute before he realised that there was no queue to worry about and finally let me keep my 5%. I know it's not much and I wouldn't have an issue if the doc got the 5% but the imaginary bank getting my money bothers me.

Peculiar. Chimera is a line free zone. Except for one guy I saw last night trying to get people into a line. I wondered what the hell he was doing. But seems that people buff in line. Wow.... strange concept to me... the huddle seems to work fine for me, even in corolag. Mind you the thought of seeing long lines of people being buffed in corolag makes me chuckle. Why not make one big daisy chain of buffers lol oh gawd, what a world.

on ahazi too we use the huddle, bank tip only methed.
first time I saw the line was on an alt char on eclips and i found it to be well, silly.
as a doc , i dont mind the huddle. i see exaclty how long the line is in the mail window. finding the next player is easy, i zoom out and find him, before my enhance macro is done.
as it has been said here, the advantages for the players are immense, AFK is the main one - they tip and goodby.
also no line cutting, no "but i ttpped you".

no line for me....just seems strange
Not to mention the hassle of trying to get people into a straight line, lol.
I've always huddled, left my email window open to check the order of the tips received, run my macro that says "BANK TIPS ONLY", and I sit and chat with all my customers while they wait.....

Indeed, I never had any person on wanderhome come up to me without waiting in the line first. I like the other method now that I think of it though... I gonna try it out soon, just tell em to banktip and the one that banktips me first gets the buffs....

I had to use paper due to the 50+ person line and thier inability to understand that I WAS only accepting bank tips. Wish the 99% of this game (who are illiterate) would learn how to read... or breath through their noses.... Also, reduces tell-hell using a line
