I am asking all of you to stand up! I know a lot of you are tired of buffing for free because I am, and as I shouted my 40k buff macro I got flamed by those that are too cheap to dish out the cash and also from many doctors praising me for doing what so many of them wanted to do, and stand up for themselves. If we all start charging 50k for our buffs people will HAVE to pay that for buffs as I said before they need us...... we are essentially healing them for 3 and a half hours straight I think that is the least they can do. And people will say "what about noobs that dont have 50k" and my reply is simply this, sure they dont but there isnt any doc out there that wouldnt be able to give you a free buff because you are a broke noob, and maybe low lvl docs can start buffing for xp in the noob cities IE coronet theed etc, you get what you pay for in this world folks and I dont think 50k is too much to ask, I am also a master swordsman, and after I get buffed I go run missions for aboot an hour and make a million credits easy (granted not everyone does but it can happen) and you guys are tryin to tell me that 50k is going to empty your pockets when you can easily make 3 mil in the time we provide you buffs? Dream on

now with that said I beg you guys do not flame me for this post, constructive criticism is encouraged I mainly want reactions from doctors out there, and doctors on other servers if you see this please post your average priced buff on your server.

It's inflated because we've had two really good spawns of avian meat that are way old (Pisro DR 947/PE 971/OQ 987 and Aieprema DR 698/PE 994/OQ 969 ) which go for 400-600cpu.. 2600+ 30+ with pisro duration hits 3:45mins easily..

What makes it more inflated, we recently had a good spawn of avian meat.. Isneja DR 198/PE 994/OE 977 and just weeks before this one, Otchic DR 849/PE 868/OQ 965.. So packs made with these two meats are usually in the 15k-20k a pack range, but since Otchic has less power and Isneja has high power but low duration. it's not as in demand as the other two kinds of packs.. People, especially jedi are always willing to fork out millions for these packs in bulk. Aieprema 25k-30k a pack and Pisro has to be at least 30k a pack due to it's more in demand then Aieprema.

Those other two packs, you can find sets for 200k-250k for 5.. The other two it's rare to find crates, only if it's coming from like.. custom made by a 12pt doctor

There's enough 12pt doctors to make good buffs.. Just everytime we make crates full they sell fast

I really do not think 50k is too much to ask being that they can get it back in 1 and a half missions, and people pay that. Also 80% of the time when you are buffing someone and get a convo down, what do they say they are doing? Money grinding. It really irks me to know that I made them close to 3 million credits off of my measley 10k I just made. I think having low lvl docs buff newbs in coronet and stuff is a wonderful idea, I also get irked about people tumbling for tips and stuff, when I was an aspiring doc I did it the hard way and had to actually heal people that needed healed, the whole tumbling idea hadnt even came into effect yet. Like I told you guys on the thread, I made 200k in 10 minutes, normally it would take about 45 minutes to make that charging 10k what sense does that make? in 45 minutes the guy you buffed just made around 700-800k

That's not profit though, you forgot to mention how much you spent on the packs initially. That's about 100-120k per set. There goes your money, that's only 230k profit for about an hour/hour and a half of buffing. Only half of the profits solo groupers make. You buff someone for 10k, they go back that back in 1/3 of a mission. It's unbalanced.

With solo nerfs on their way,many think doctors will be justified. However, without the thousands upon thousands of people that solo with Janta/Mock missions, there will be no one to buff anymore. I forsee a big shift coming up. Food won't be bought as much as bivoli won't be used as often for the shortage of people to buff, and brandy won't be bought often for the lack of soloers, so there goes the Chef prof too. The end is near! The end is near!

But I digress, 10k is way to low, 30-40k seems about right.

We should test this out in MoP. Provided we all stick to the same price Id love to see the reaction of 5 docs all charging 40k.

But I dont see this happening as there will always be a Doc under-cutting for new business.
