Mainly to compliment Rifleman. My old char was Rifle, and I always wanted to do full stat migration for PVP, but was never able to for fear of being ganked while unbuffed. Plus it is very nice to have the state effect heals, and Cure Poison and Cure Disease.

Started with Ozo, from day 1 he was to be a ranger. I always thought "who would want to be a doc and sit in the med center all the time, how boring is that?". Mastered Rangerand got lonely out in the woods by myself all the time.
Started Ozka as an alt and wanted melee combat and doctor. Mastered Doc first and loved every bit of it. Met lots of great people in the med centers and had a lot of fun back then. I managed to master both Doc and TKA and that is a very fun combo. I have recently had to decide which to drop to take politician. I first dropped doc crafting and realized how much my friends liked Ozka and her buffs. So now I have dropped TKA and mastered Doc again.
Doc is a very fun and social class and are looked for to group hunt more then CM from my experiences.

I'm actually working my way into doc at the moment. I'm already a TKM, and more than just about anything else in the game, I hate diseases. I took TK mostly to meditate away my own, but then I started feeling bad for those of us who couldn't solve all their problems with meditation. I've always had a support class as a main focus of my character design (CH, then ranger, then smuggler), and Doc just seems to be a natural choice to me at this point in time.
But give me a few months... I'm sure I'll be switching to something else totally different in not that long. There hasn't been a period of time greater than two weeks where I haven't been grinding something.

Well i wanted to be a Weaponsmith or Crafter. After collapsing in pain holding my clicking finger, I decided it wasn't right for me. I took up Medic to heal people, cause alot of the groups I was joining had no medics. Long story short, I found Medic Crafting easy, not a grind at all, since you can actually use the stuff you make, though to less effect than bought stuff.
And I'm working up from Novice Doc right now.

I figured I had to learn healing for myself for combat but then it came to a point to where I was healing other people and I like it so much I decided to become a Doc

I love doc....I am a fighter, started as a marksman, then commando, TKA, brawler, all mastered. I did WS for a holo and hated it, I used to hate all crafting. I left my guild(along with some friends) and no longer had a doc to help us out. I went doc and now I love it. I actually like the(small ammount) crafting, there is just something about finding all the best resources and making the best buffs you can.... The best part is, you can see the results of your crafting directly by buffing yourself.... the rezzing also is a plus =)

I wanted the total opposite to my main char on Starsider, which is a triple master (master smuggler, master pistoleer, master tk).
Since I was fed up with the lack of smuggler content (before the revamp was announced, still hedging my bets until I see it...) and close to packing it in. I thought a master doc/master combat medic (still working on CM for now) would be a nice combo and change of pace from an almost pure combat main char.

I'm a die hard rpg healer. I love healing thats what I do. I started playing as a medic and later took up tka, I mastered Doctor just now (Go post in my thread!) and will finish tka this week or probably next. but I will never give up Doctor.

My friends and I started at the same time, and our group needed a doctor. After watching some of their attempts at crafting I told them to be straight up combat profs and I'd take care of the buffing
