Most hated question - lol I think I have three that I am waffling on as worst. Below is in my opinion the most frequent things to happen that annoy me.

1. The AnnoyingBuffSet-up When I dont have my drs tag on, am obviouslyhunting with guildies, in the middle of afightor I am still loading into the game:

Person - Can you buff me?

Me - I am sorry I can't I need to do xxxx or I am in the middle of xxxxx

Person - Please I will pay xxxxk

Me - No. Really I can't. Maybe some other time

Person - Please Please Please (insert spam here and addignore thereafter)

2. TheWorst AggravatingRez Situation

Person - Will you rez me?

Me - Sure I am at xxxxx. I will not travel. It's xxxk to get a rez. If it's been over 3 mintues it's too late - clone. Give me you waypoint and give me /consent BEFORE I get there.

Person with Alternative ending1 - Oh cool thanks (gives waypoint that is 2k+ away in the boonies or in another city or some such)

Me - that is too far, please find another dr

Person - /whine

Person with Alternative ending 2 - HURRY! ty!I am at xxxx yyyyy

Iget there to rez and it takes them 3 minutes to give consent while i am fighting off what DBed them in the first place. I rez them or find out that, yes it has indeed, been way too long and they weren't paying attention to the time. In the mean time, I get another Tell from Person B - can you rez me?

3. The most Foolish Rez Question

I havea line of people to be buffed that is 10+ deep and hard to miss. Someone walks up with old buffs on and seeing that I am busy asks...

Can you db me and rez me please?

To which I have to point out the obvious - Get someperson in the line to db you while they are waiting and I will rez you. Be 10 feet from me when you die. (It took 5 solid minutes to db one person in Coronet one day)

Maybe I am being jaded :/

I'm sorry to say but it's a wonder that people don't treat you worse than you get treated now. no you are not buff slaves but when someone asks if you are buffing or if you can buff you should not get mad. you know people need buffs to play the game, you made the choice to be doctors, deal with it or delete your char. you should be happy, try to be a doc in AO (totally usless proff). i dont want to piss you off more than you already seem to be but how the hell are we supposed to get a buff if we don't ask? I always pay more than you ask, i always travel to were your are, i always am polite and understanding but sometimes i feel like oliver twist just for asking for a buff, and i don't like the way that feels anymore than you like being harassed by punk kids.

I agree with you rolling thunder but manners are free.... And whether im md or novice medic i expect to receive politeness from other players as i treat them in turn.

Rolling, am I right in assuming that you are not a doctor?

I think you dont really realise how annoying it can be when you have so many tells coming in that you cannot keep up with them. I know you can make your character unsearchable, but I get tells from fellow docs/medics asking if I can give them training because there is nobody else around, and these are the people i like to help.

"can you come half across the planet to get my friends disease healed, it's urgent/emergency/panic". I'm a doc yes and kinda like it but not healing machine who runs allover the rescuing people.

Im not usually spammed with are you buffing tells, I dont wear my mdoc tag in towns if I want to be left alone no one has even ever complained about buffs. I say that buffs are between 1.1k-3.6k and tip as you feel and no complains so far and getting tipped between 6k to 12k.

Yes thunder I think you may have not quite grasped what the general feeling of most docs is m8, yes we are privelaged to have the most useful service in the game i.e Buffs, no one would disagree there, but we are also the most harassed profession by the spotty teenage client base Contrary towhat you may think, a large percentage of Docs dont do buffs for others, they do it for themselves and their guild mates/mates and that is probably the majority, you know this cos if all the MDs buffed then you wouldn't need to ask one would you

The question is about courtesy, our profession is nearly a 'buf bot' profession already and the endless 'Buff?' is not my idea of nice when it is asked soon as you log in and about 10 times, to my mind if i dont have Master Doc tags on im not performing Doc trade end of so leave me the fek alone

I completly understand what you're saying. And I try to be kind to everyone that asks for buffs. I will respond with "No, I'm not buffing right now, sorry" or, "Yes, I'm buffing, 10K for a full set". The problem is when people don't respect the "No" response or complains about the price (remember, you asked me). My No Heal List is full of people like this. Most people understand that Doctors don't buff constantly. I am proud of my Master Doctor title, and now I can't wear it because of the constant /tells for buffs. I became a medic to heal myself after combat, and really didn't know about buffs until I was a Master Doctor for over a month. So I didn't get into Doctor for the buffs, I got into it to HEAL friends.

A question I don't like is when I tell someone that I charge 10K, and they ask "How about 6K?". I'm sorry, my services aren't a negotiation (I have lines of people willing to pay 10K). If you don't like my price you can head to Theed or Coronet to look for a set for 6K.

Plus I get the "Can you just buff my Action (or Stamina, or Quickness, etc...)?" I only sell my buffs infull sets, and people don't understand this. I make crates of buffs, andall my packs are the same power, duration, and charges, and I like to keep my packs even so I know how manysets of buffs I have left.

/reply "No sorry, you're like 6k away, I'll never make it"

"Aw c'mon, you can make it!"

/reply you will be too far gone

"cant you just try?"

"Are your buffs stocked?"

I really hate that question, i get it like 20-50 times a day. I sell 1800 packs in about 20 hours, so I just tell them no, and give them an expected restock date.
