That's the way it is on live right now. But on Test Center the slider works all the way to 1000. You should see this go live sometime this week according to Q.

I have a question about the original subject of this thread. What do you mean by "no more TEF"?


Do you mean:
a) TEFs have been completely removed from the game (I doubt it, as they're a good part of the GCW)
b) TEFs are no longer gained by doctors for healing, e.g. picking up a TEF in a medical center
c) "Revenge TEF" (bug wherea newly cloned covert canattack the people who killed them) has been fixed.


Which is it?

They should continue to have people reset to covert in a neutral cloning centre after revenge TEF is removed. Either that or disallow respawning at cloning centres within 1km.


Yesterday I led about 10 imperialsagainst about 20 rebels in Bestine. They had already taken over Bestine so I buffed up my team and we came in via the shuttle port and entered the Bestine hill fort the back way, then came down the hill towards the rebels. They attacked us and we wiped them out, with only one casualty. We won, but then we "lost" because of course the 20 rebels then came back with revenge TEF over and over. Each time my side got more and more damaged/wounded until we were wiped out and the rebels sat in the hill fort claiming victory.


The removal of revenge TEF means attrition in battles, instead of unlimited troops. This is not Quake. It will be a good thing for doctors because revive will be the only way to continue after death, and buffs/heals/cures will make all the difference. Both sides will have to be much more careful about tactics in a battle and it will be feasible to have a "healing station" where people who have flamethrower wounds or disease can come to get fixed up.
