Fishing is annoying after while, I will agree to that. But eggs and Milk do not require combat and nonplanet specific milk will be very easy to get as well.


The issue here is that we can't make massive amounts of product as easily as before.

I ran a test on live and managed to harvest 250 untis of mollusk in an hour, admittedlly this was at novice scout level, but its still hardly a realistic proposition for any significant production.


The CU was supposed to increase fun - is it fun to stand on the edge of a river and press a key every 30 secs? or even worse it pushes people to AFK macro the process.


If we buy in mollusks and crustaceans how much will be charged for the hours of tedium? Do I detect run away inflation on meds ingredients again?

They are morons for screwing over all the long time crafters who have spend 100's of millions on resources. I've been seriously dissapointed about the change in required resources for a long time now, and that will only change if they (a) either convert some of my resources to those that are used, or (b) make the new buffs have the same requirements as the old ones. They are after all changing all the current weapons so they fit in the CU, I don't see a reason why they can't go around asking doctors if they have resources they would like to have converted..into an equal quality ofcourse. Anyways, we will see what happens in CU and all I can say for now is to stock up on 30k resource deeds cus AFK macro harvesting isn't the thing for most of us lol.

Ask any chef, getting milk is hard.


Incidentally, with the new level-based combat, anything 3 levels over your own WILL kill you, armor or no armor. The higher a creature is over your combat level, the bigger the chance it will agro.



Last I heard we were able to search the same lair more than a few times for eggs making getting more easier. Is this not the case?

Nimhnoid, thanks for putting this together. This is just another way of screwing crafters as alot of people have a good stock of resources that will become worthless at least for crafting meds, I was planning on giving my stuff to our guild BE to craft meds for our guild docs, bu oh well.

Looks better. But I think that "Greens" and "Vegs" are too general. These are basically Enchance Pack "D"s or on the level of annoying resources.


I would shoot down to a specific planet on these as they are generally easy (generally) to find a good one as each planet will have it's own.

just to support this thread - -AS just got thier resource requirements HALVED follwing a well argued post about the impact on costs/ income of the new resources. We need to act as a community to do the same and get this thing tone down somewhat....

The cost of the resources as they first came out are unreasonable. I suggest halving them and using no creautre resources in Stim Enhancers (only in buffs and debuffs).

Im certain you have done this already, but if not, you need to take the post referred to above by MataHairy and point out to Blixtev that he listened to the armoursmiths and we could do with some similar treatment here
